FOR THE PERFECT MIX - Shallow intense chopping and crumbling as well as deep loosening and blending
The Ceus combines the use of a compact disc harrow for shallow cultivation with a tine array for deep loosening. Through the combination of discs and tines, the Ceus creates a perfect mix at working speeds of up to 15 km/h. Straw, stubble or cover crops are severely chopped up by the disc field. In connection with the subsequent tine field, the organics are evenly mixed in, even in large quantities. With this tool combination, the Ceus creates the best conditions for rapid rotting and very good emergence with minimal disease pressure for the subsequent seed.
The front disc field is equipped with large discs, which break up the organic matter very well and leave a finely crumbly soil structure for optimal seed conditions. The discs are available in smooth and serrated versions and, thanks to the individual suspension, ensure high passage and good ground following during intensive cultivation. A stone protection via rubber spring elements is maintenance-free.
With a tine spacing of 40 cm, the following tine field reliably incorporates the organic mass, even in large quantities, and is easy to pull with a high throughput at the same time. The tines can be adjusted up to 30 cm in depth. However, it is also possible to work flat so that the point of the share runs just below the working depth of the disc harrow in wet and heavy conditions. This loosens the horizon, creates a rough structure in the soil and thus significantly reduces the risk of siltation on these soils. A selection of different C-Mix shares is available for the tine field. The extensive range offers the right share type for every application. The C-Mix-Clip quick-change system is also available, with which the share tips can be exchanged easily and conveniently. Various highly wear-resistant HD shares are also available for long-lasting use.
The C-Mix Super tines are equipped with a pressure spring overload protection for a high level of operational reliability even under the toughest conditions. As an option, the new C-Mix Ultra tines with automatic overload protection via hydraulic cylinders can also be selected for the Ceus-TX. With this, the release force can be continuously adjusted up to 800 kg. On the one hand, this ensures that the desired working depth of up to 30 cm is precisely maintained. On the other hand, the C-Mix-Ultra system protects the cultivator from extreme loads by releasing the tines very dampened.
The tine field is followed by the leveling unit, which can be optionally equipped with smooth or serrated discs or spring steel levellers. For an optimal connection, the edge discs can be adjusted separately in height and inclination.
Eleven different rollers and different harrows are available for subsequent reconsolidation. In particularly wet conditions, for example in spring, the roller can be dismantled and worked without reconsolidation so that the loosened soil can dry and warm up more quickly.
The hydraulic working depth adjustment for optimal adaptation to the respective soil conditions is particularly convenient and is available as an option for all implements.
