Hello, Ricardo! Revisiting this video since, after much AX combat and Titan bombing, I'm expanding into exploring Titan derelicts and looking to make a Titan graverobber build. Based on this video though and your newer "Elite Dangerous: Why Collect Materials from Dead Titans?" content, you seem to prefer using large ships such as the Anaconda and Imperial Cutter. Apart from having more utility slots for the Caustic Sink Launchers, is there any other reason one should be using a large ship? Like, is the potential haul on one trip so big as to require massive cargo holds?
I refitted my Titan Core Diver / Ice-Dolphin for this purpose. It's so cold that it can boost around without ever being noticed. It's got 3x Caustic Racks, which has always been more than enough for me. I'm not interested in everything, just the stuff worth taking.
Your comment struck a chord - I had been blundering about in a Krait shooting at everything that moved (mainly because it was shooting at me) getting loads of damage and caustic glop, hadn't seen a single drive and was actually losing money. So I pulled out my Dolphin, stuck in a few caustic racks and heatsinks and started ninja'ing about. Managed to snaffle two of those Titan drives in three turnarounds and found it a lot less stressful. Good old sneaky Dolphin, thanks for the heads-up👍
@@ronhall9039 Glad to be of service. If you G5 Low Emissions your PP, you're cold as ice. Sadly, you only have 3 AA batteries to power everything, so expect to be fiddling with modules on arrival.
Dolphin. Mine is Cool Hand Luke on EDSY. Runs at 11-12% heat and can boost once without rising above 20%. Has two 4E anti corrosion racks xeno limpet multi and a collector limpet controler. Shielded build because the shield is just to keep you alive for long enough to run and drop heat sink to disappear. Great fun being a sneak-thief. I can use my Krait by swapping out the repair limpet if i want to fight a little in there, but the sneaky, sneaky is fun.
Clipper is the best wreck diver tbhfamalam, tested from DBX up to cutter too and yeah, the optional internal slot in league with the big ships yet the nimbleness of medium ones just shines.
My Clipper runs at 14% and generally stays undetected. All 4 utility slots for caustics sinks and a 7A limpet controller lets you collect everything my cargo holds can carry.
ive been having good luck using the corvette in there, but the cutter is an excellent choice. like you say the python would probably be great in there too
Links should appear in I'd say 1-2 days, if they don't, I'll post them myself in the comments section (5E caustic resistant cargo racks can be replaced by another type of rack)
I've been out of the game for a while and on Friday tried getting close to Leigong in my AX engineered shieldless Chieftan. I used all of my caustic sinks on the way in and never made it - will the Cutter fair any better or am I the problem?!
Question for you - I've been out in the blue for a long time and I'm just back into the bubble for a dabble in all things Thargoid. I've got some caustic heatsinks - do you have to eject them manually when they fill up or is it an automatic process?
Yeah I take guardian shard cannons with me inside the cloud. They work just fine.

nice a good use for my spare cutter time for some material grinding
Definitely!
Running a Krait Phantom, no weapons, 3 caustic sinks, 1 heatsink. Speed and cold build to pick up mats and Titan Drives/Titan Guts.

I use a Krait Mk2.
3 engineerd caustic sinks.
It usually stayes at or under 20%
You don't need caustic sinks to survive in the graveyard. A 5 rated repair or 7A Universal will out repair the caustic damage.
Good tip
I had the guardian jump booster and it did not degrade. So a confirmation from me.
cool more testing to come then
Where do you get the class 5 anti corrosion cargo rack from? I thought it only went up to class 4?
It was a reward for a CG a few years ago

They need to unlock the 6e and 5e 😢or do the Community gold again 🙄
i had them at 4km, 5km, 12km 14.7km
Nice video!
Why no build link though? :/
Its a bit tedious to go forward and backward the whole time to find single modules..
I will work one out
I can make a build link and whisper it over to you on twitch if you wish@@RicardosGaming
(If you have a build and need a link, just notify me)
Just sent one over whispers, use it if you wish (I made it more new player friendly)
Awesome, thank you guys!
Dont know if i will make it as i am out of manf mans so i am of shopping to try and build a fer da lans as my mk2 krait is not doing it ...😢😢😢
VR in the whole game or no more money for anything, EVER.

You won't be able to get into leigong for a bit until the caustic cloud dissipates, it will just keep pushing you back and sucking up your sinks
@@Larry_Parada Thanks for saving me a load more rebuys! I'll try Taranis in that case.

yes manual ejection
Manually. Though that was a particularly dumb design choice.
