The light shining through on the front is a cute touch. The pink + blue combo is giving cotton candy vibes! Very cute board, but still a bit hollow ish at the end? The mods definitely made it better though. Amazing video!!
My first impressions when listening to the stock vs modded soundtests: Stock: - switches were scratchy - switches louder too - hollowness in case Modded: - sound more muted - no scratchiness to switches - less hollow sound I wonder if there may be further improvements if tape mod and pe foam was added? Will that make it more marbly to this board? Will taping it improve sound of switches? 😮 Also hiii welcome back. ❤ A prebuilt dustsilver keeb this time! Milkshake colourway is very aesthetically pleasing, even their latest lilac and pink one too. I always liked the design of their 70-75% keyboard layout, especially where they put the led lights. It's not too flashy like acrylic cases or clear keycaps but it's enough to make the keeb look pretty without it being too much like a lightshow haha 🎉 I think the keycap profile for dustsilver keyboards is their own profile, although I'm not sure what the name is 😂 although from the vid, it looks quite comfortable to type in! What are your thoughts on it? Will it be good as a daily driver? Is it more workplace worthy or maybe it's suited for more for home office bc the design is more toward aesthetics? 😊
totally agree with the sound test observations!! now that i think of it i shouldve added pe foam!! i didn’t think it would need tape mod since it already has a tape foam at the back of the pcb! but i wonder if it would actually make a sound difference; tape foam vs tape mod. yes it’s aesthetically pleasing, i agree!! i wouldnt bring this color to work but they have a more muted colorway, which is more suitable for work (i think atleast). i think you’re right! i swear i thought i saw mda. maybe i’m just excited for the actual mda keycaps i have 😅😅
hiiii i was wondering how you record your videos? i’ve been wanting to get into youtube but i don’t know how to film or if i should use a specific camera or something? also i would love to know how you film your angles and what tripod you use or whatever it is. anyways great video thank you for the content!!!
i would just start out with your phone and see how it goes! i started filming with my iphone until i realized i liked filming and editing so i got myself a nikon z30. you can choose any camera you would like but this one is specifically made for content creators. it can be hard to navigate so i would def watch youtube vids to learn more about the camera! as for the different angles i use a basic tripod and a wall mount from amazon :) thank you! i hope this helps !!
The stabilizers mmmmm very nice very nice. Lovely video! Imagine though using all of the medical tape for holee modding and someone ask "wheres the medical tape?" And you say "oh i used it on mechanical keyboard stabaizlidiers"

im actually ashamed that i didnt call it joycons. im not worthy of the sound, once call it the right name then i will insert that satisfying click audio lol. yes i agree!! i think i made it less hollow and smoother esp the alphas!! and thank you 😇❤️
So you paid like $300 for a keyboard that you still had to take apart, add things to, and modify? Wow... I did enjoy how moisturized your hands are tho.
looooool nah they sent it to me but also thats the fun part about custom keyboards. taking it apart, and tuning it. gives me something to do on my days off. you really gonna roast crusty dry hands eh 😭😭
