I like 4 rotpriest on board then storm the seed core!!! But you can sink your mana as you see fit. Most people don't know what's going on when the kami goes off lol. Well done dude
This makes me wanna build a commander deck around this stuff. Kami and Marwen and gyre sage et al in the 99, along with things like Ivy, Orvar and Kalamax and the rest is pump spells and storm finishers like Aeve, fungal sprouting and fling.
The main issue with Clearcutter is that it only makes green mana so we can't use it to cast the card draw spells. Would also need to add a way to filter the mana to make it blue.
@@MTGGoldfish I use this combo with my favorite commander deck with Raggadragga and that's a big issue. Explosive Singularity seems like the wrong choice of finisher: it takes up 2 deck slots, can only beat a limited amount of lifegain, and has no other utility. Expansion/Explosion kills with a single copy and has tons of other upsides. The main thing is that you can use it to draw cards or copy a pump spell while comboing, then later flash it back to end the game. It beats infinite life by decking the opponent. It can even beats some creature/planeswalker hate pieces: e.g. beats Gideon of the Trials' emblem by decking the opponent and nuking Gideon simultaneously. Some other options are Banefire (uncounterable, damage can't be prevented), Thassa's Oracle (beats Leyline of Sanctity, spell redirection, and infinite life, but loses to counterspells) and Jace Wielder of Mysteries (like Thoracle, but better in a pinch since it draws a card, but has the disadvantage of losing to a removal spell in response to the draw effect).
I think for the explorer build, I'd cut the Liers for Clearcutters. 10 copies of your combo enabler seems infinitely better than Lier and having fingers crossed that you open Kami over Marwyn.
