I am 34, quit my three years relationship because of some of the things you mentioned here and I am on the verge of reconsidering and going back to mend things with him out of fear that I might be wrong about some of these things.

That digression was necessary 😢 the ex(I'm not a fan of saying "my Ex" coz why still give him that tag of "My") well that's also a digression 😂😂😂😂 Well broda said he was finding it "hard to love me". Those words broke me for the longest time. Imagine growing up with a single mum and I never got to know my dad until I was 28, imagine how those words could mean so many things.
I started to read and meditate on God's love for me. And I had light one day.
I told myself anyone who is finding it hard to love me is because I have so much love to give and they can't handle it. For God is Love and His little miss is loveable!!!! Trust me I know I am a work in progress but don't come rubbing your insecurities one me
We know ages don't really mean a lot but avoid start a serious relationship until you have certain knowledge. Let your frontal lobe develop fully before choosing who to spend the rest of your life with. Also do it with God, let God guide you. Thank you mama for this video, the bags are lovely

I've been following you for over 5 years and one of the reasons i followed you is first of all because i noticed we had a lot in common like....i can relate soooo much with you and my friends usually say I sound like you when i eventually introduced them to your channel lol. I don't know why this message is coming now, I'm also not one to enter into purposeless relationships so I usually gravitate towards church boys, smart and mature ones of course lol but previously, my friend advised me to step out of my comfort zone and date outside of my "spec" which i tried and that lead me down a dark path. I'm grateful to God now that I'm out of it and I'm currently on a healing journey but I need help with feeling like I'm a bit too "messed up" for the kind of man i want. I took a break off dating and I've been celibate, not because of relationship but because I'm really working on my relationship with God but! Sometimes i just feel sad like it's too late and all. I know I'm not supposed to be feeling this way but i do 😩😪 please help!
Hey Sis! Don’t be too hard on urself and No ! U’re not too messed up to find the kind of man that you want or rather the kind of man GOD has for you. I have once walked through this path u’re in and I can boldly say to you STOP TRYING TO FIND A MAN FOR YOURSELF!!!! I just had to write it in capitals. See sis the moment you stop finding a man for urself everything changes, just surrender to the holy spirit see I can’t over emphasize it enough. Tell the holy spirit what you want I mean be very specific, every single detail and be faithful while u’re at it he never fails. I really understand what you are saying and where you are coming from. I was once in your shoes. I know it can be really hard but I want you to know that God still loves you the way you are. All you need to do is to genuinely retrace your steps back to God. Infact, he is eagerly waiting for you. Your thought of being 'messed up' is the devil speaking into your ear. Yes, you strayed but you don't have to remain there! Remember the prodigal son. When he came back to his father, the father did not castigate him but rather received him with open arms. God is waiting for you too. Please, don't listen to the devil's lies that you are messed up. Once you come back to God genuinely, he will give you a man that surpasses your own imaginations. I want you to know that God wants to make a message out of your mess. Be encouraged sis. 🫂.
God is an on-time father. There is nothing called too late. When you pray, be specific. The Lord will show up for you. Date yourself and see how living life on your own terms will lead you. God bless you.

OH my, how you speak the truth so simply. Yes, it makes sense. Some of us fall for krife" lifestyle as we say it in Ghana. If he wants to, HE WILL! Shoo Mama Tolu, my husband from day #1 has always said he is not romantic in so many ways and I have resigned myself to all those euphorias of love, candles, and stuff. However he does other amazing stuff on my bdays, valentines, etc but a part of me, sometimes, quotes this phrase and I don't want to lose sight of the other beautiful thoughtful, and considerate things he does. lol. Heyyyyyyy women, oh Lord help us all.
My younger self would be financially independent before having children and not buying in the idea of I'll take care of you. This can be true until the family starts expanding, bills are picking up and resentment starts creeping in. Have your own and be the support for when that time comes. Also finish enough schooling before the children come, sometimes unplanned but in 2024, no more unplanned babies. Because going to school with little ones can be stressful. When your little one says, "School is more important to you Mommy, you do not spend time with me anymore. The mom guilt is a thing, but you can avoid it. Be financially stable to reduce some of the stress. Two income households according to research have thriving children given all things equal and less stress.
Who looks after the children, while mum & dad are at work?

All that you have said is very true. It has happened to me. This church guy preys on girls from good Christian homes. He does his homework and he mentions all the big names pastors he has worked with. But me being who I am saw through him and I also asked some Christian big brothers close to me and my family and their answers was a loud NO NO.

Hmmm I really wish I learnt all of this before I started dating at all. The heartbreaks back to back I won’t lie has left me unusually hardened in terms of developing that soft side of me for someone else.
