I think that we need to get this Don Shipley guy verified... LOL. 😂 Great video BTW
@American CNC & Design don Shipley has wes Watson keistered
That's classified!
Ask him his BUDS class number
@American CNC & Design Don would give Wes Watson a noogie and have him carrying around his jockstrap
He probably can't name one guy he served with either. Lol
Don Shipley's mustache alone could kick Bruce Lee's ass.
That would mean one of his mustache hairs could kick your ass.
@@gabos7892
Yes, that's correct.
And one of his pubes would send you into the ER 😅
Not could, but DID! 😂
'97. God I miss The Before Times. Thank you will never be enough for these incredible American Warriors. 🇺🇸
Don Shipley is the real deal.Tom Sutherland here, Class 30EC. UDT-21, SEAL TEAM'S 2&6. LEFT the Navy to become an Airline Pilot.
I myself can vouch for Don as Space Force Navy seal. I completed my BUDS class 1 on the moon. The swim training was much more rigorous then it is on earth. That’s all I can say about that though it’s super classified stuff. On,y Joe Biden and no other future presidents will know of my secret missions.
Not true! I found out Don is a fake from the Nazis I personally captured back in Nam!
Retired in 1998, great video and sorry for the lost of your friend. Thanks Senior Chief
A good navy is not a provocation to war. It is the surest guarantee of peace. God Bless our warriors
I love how his son followed his footsteps and became a legend on his own
DJ paid a heavy price
As a 47 pilot very familiar with the operation of a big ol' tandem rotor helicopter, that 46 driver juuuust about stole the show. The precision at which he operated those flight controls fit perfectly alongside a demonstration of some of our Nation's most precise, lethal warriors. Badass video, Don. Would love to see more like this.
I agree 100% Next to this helicopters performance the next best thing has to be the P-3C Orion.
That mf'er made it look easy
u fn pilots always still the show!
Every pilot that I'd actually get to see while they do the safety song and dance while in a training environment were awesome! Ft Irwin they woukd pick 4 of us up and get down in between the canyons in the daylight so we could have some fun.
you know whatt its like in the dark with all the equipment have piled on top of us. The soft green glow of where you sit is like so close yet so far away and all we can see Nods up or even pre 911 not even at all pv7s tucked in the ruck
@@stephencarlson6028 I was working around minot ND .. on a work over rig just tripping pipe in the middle of the hills/badlands and an attack helicopter showed up from down the valley circled the rig while we all watched like idiots pulled off kept going.. it was one of those moments of wtf did we just see? They were close enough we felt the washout as the circled. Those helicopter pilots are next level. They're gangster af. And that dude who was flying that big beotch of a heli cock sucker needs a pat on the back and a few drinks... he's as gangster as they come.
That handbake turn was absolutely BADASS.
Mad props to the helo pilot. He knew what he was doing!
You all are impressive but that Chinook pilot is pretty damn good also.
That pilot... just absolutely unreal! I have seen very few pull off such aggressive, yet steady/controlled maneuvers in my lifetime.
You know what was refreshing and great to see? A whole bunch of people watching a spectacular event, laughing, smiling, taking it all in and NOT ONE SINGLE PHONE in their hands. (because they didn't exist then).
Great demonstration. Rest in peace Tom and Thomas.
Love the way you Navy Guys wear those Marine style Covers... thank you for the video Senior Chief "BADASS" Shipley... SEMPER FI!!!
I am a retired Navy Master Chief with 23 years. I tried out for the SEALs but was rejected...couldn't balance that ball on my nose! Okay, you have heard that one before a thousand times, but I suspect there are guys out there that haven't heard it. Anyway, my respect and admiration to the SEALs from an old Navy cook. I used to give you guys rations before you would go out to the field, in Binh Thuy, South Vietnam. You guys ate steak and lobster any time you wanted it. Love ya, guys...stay safe!
Steven seagal is it you
Phenomenal
Almost feel bad for the other side
John...It's me...Glenn...Remember I used to get you to cook for the Nazis I personally captured back in Nam? God I loved those guys...
Don Shipley is a bad dude! true HERO!
I'm retired Army my dad retired Navy......never understood Navy guys like a world of their own.
I love it. All this cool guy stuff and the only thing the guy is worried about is getting a comp day on Monday 😂. That's the most military thing in this whole video 😂
Ah yes the military.. only place that will pay your overtime with time off 😁
That was a great demonstration. Even the pilot was crazy!
What a great pilot, though!👍

I saw this after watching dozens of Don’s “stolen valor” videos. That voice is unmistakable! It’s cool to see him at the office.
That Sea Knight pilot had great command of his aircraft - the hover was steady. Amazing to see. Thanks for posting this Senior Chief. When I was a kid, we had demos like this when we lived in Parris Island - small unit action, and then a Huey dust off. That always stuck with me.
Screw the SEALs the pilot of that 46 was awesome.... rode a few times.
Whipping the ass around of that beast
Damn … that pilot is goooodddd 👍🏻👏🙌
I lived near an army base where I heard they had demos but I never saw one myself. This was awesome to see. Really proud of our seals. Thank you Mr. Shipley.
Lol. I sent it to my dad and told him Im sure its nothing he couldn't do blind folded. Lol. We will see how the Lt. Col responds. 😂👍🇺🇸
Wow, Don hasn't changed a bit! That helicopter pilot is a bad ass and damm this reminds me of how things were pre 9/11. We were training for a threat that we could not yet even begin to imagine then. Watching this is a little sad in some ways..like maybe these were the "happy times" for what was about to come.

Seeing Don at a younger age is so weird and the best thing ever
I am exceedingly and abundantly glad that we have people like these men to keep our country safe.
well we used to , now we have seals coming out not knowing what gender that are and changing their gender and putting a dress on . They are a disgrace now
Some bad ass stuff that happened just a couple years before my early Marine Corps Service. Awesome seeing this demo. Saw something similar at CAX93 at 29 Palms.👍
I know what you mean, I served 25 years for Col. Sanders
"Where the hell is 29 Palms"...you get it lol
I did CAX several times mid-late 80s. Some cold, some in the hot summertime. We were rarely allowed to go mainside. When we did, we took advantage of the PX.
Sneak a peek and body snatch and the chopper pilot was awesome. You can’t say enough about our Navy Seals. Deployed in water or land faster than you can get a cheeseburger from a fast food place. True Professionals and tough as nails.
HARD as nails!
Great pilot...try being a passenger haha.
Youre not a Navy Seal so please dont try to tell us what they do. Youre just as lame as the phonies.
Watched this again a year later. The US Navy SEALs are true superheroes.
I was just thinking about 90's SEAL mustaches... glad to see young Senior rocking the style!
Wow and that’s just a training exercise. I couldn’t imagine what it would be in real life. Thank you for your service sir. God bless
when done right, the actual real world event is far easier. This is why you run for an hour in the gym to prepare for something that don't take 20 mins.

Such an amazing demo from guys that dedicate more than anyone to our country. Very impressive. Huge fan of Mr Shipley and all he does 🙏👍
I worked for Capt. Tom “Mad Dog” Williams at Ft Bragg 94-96. A great officer!
OUTSTANDING Senior Chief. I served as an Aviation rescue swimmer from 1990-1998 and we did a few Seal Team 8 deliveries and pickups from our Sea Kings. What a great bunch of guys.

True meaning of "training video". Awesome!!! Honor and respect to the lost SEAL.🙏
Hey Don, I am a firefighter with the Va. Beach Fire Department. I went to a similar display with a volunteer firefighter Rich Hansen and Captain Mike Brown(VBFD RIP) back in that same time frame. I guess Rich was an original Red Cell guy with Marcinko. Just wanted to say Rich was one of the nicest guys I have ever met and you would never know what he had done unless he told you. Naval Special Warfare are the best. Thanks for what you have done in your service to the USA and what you do now, exposing frauds. You are the best!!
Hansen is also a "plank holder" of SEAL team 6. Wow man you know a good one 👍
Hello Skip,
I’ve been looking at working down in VA beach as a firefighter with the department. If it’s ok with you I’d like to reach out to you.
Was a forward observer in the army, we all hated demonstration day. Having to break down what you do barney style for the civilians. This is not even close to what these guys do, there is way more to it. Hats off to you gentlemen.
Thank you all for what you do!!!
Don't know the man or unfortunately haven't heard of him before this video but it leaves a feeling in you that for a lack of a better word sucks after seeing that the seal was lost and no longer with us. RIP to the brave man and all like him.

Did you do another one of these a few years later? I distinctly remember seeing something just like this with my dad at little creek but it must have been a few years later, I was born in 96. I was pretty young but I’ll never forget seeing the SEALs coming out of the water and just thinking that was the coolest thing ever.
Could have been, Jason... I loved doing these and I did a bunch. Anything I could show off for and I'd be there, Bro :)
This is a blast from the past. lol I did the demo watch the night before for these at Lil Creek and the reunion down in FL. Always a good time talking to the old guys at these events.
That extraction of the troops via that chinook was spine tingling.
Awesome show of capabilities, Chief. I am proud to be American.
That pilot might have been one of the best in his day. He was flying that thing so very well. Really insane amount of skill here.
As a 9 yr 46 SAR crewchief..this was awesome and brought back some great memories!🇺🇸
I remember going to the CapEx demonstration on Ft.Bragg when I was about 11 years old, with Major Lynn Spurlin of the 82nd Airborne, his son Ashely and I are the same age and would each spend the summers with our Father's in Fayetteville. Ashley ended up an Air Force PJ. That was one of the highlights of my childhood going to see that.
Look how Young he is. I've watched this whole thing before. So fun to watch.

I hope you and your team will share more like this.
Once I reached my late 20’s and had developed an appreciation for the tenuous, fragile nature of our lives as human beings, I found myself easily affected by stories of courage and self-sacrifice. I looked up Senior Chief Thomas J. Valentine. He was only 37 when he died in the parachute training accident. He had a wife, a son, and a daughter. 😢
He did multiple tours in Afghanistan and Iraq, earning a Silver Star, and three Bronze Stars (all with V device). What a badass.
Been about 34 yrs since iv seen Little Creek...spent 30 outstanding days there with my Marine Co. Doing a familiarization course for ROTCs and JROTCs. Had a blast.
The Young and Still Mighty Senior Chief!! I have to say, Don, you looked intimidating lol. Really, I would've always thought twice about passing you off!! Great video. You SEALS had/have a great life. C4 on the beach was just amazing.

I was neighbors with Chief James "Patches" Watson, plank owner of Team 2. He gave me copies of his books and signed them for me the same year this was filmed, also gave me a Vietnamese death card that way i would have a book marker....Id ride my bike over to his house all the time, some occasions team guys would be packed in his garage visiting also. When his wife retired from Cummins they moved down to Ft. Pierce and he worked for the Seal Musuem. Unfortunately he passed away before I could reconnect with him, but you can still go to Little Jim's Bait & Tackle up the road from the Musuem and check out old stuff from the Teams. Miss you Chief, never forget the times we shared.
Really enjoyed this Don, I hope and pray our seals are always this badass.
Well done Sr. Master Sergeant I really enjoyed this vid. While a DS at Fort Benning in the early 1960s I had the pleasure to be an extra in the movie “The Green Berets”. Tried to attend every training that was open to the base soldiers. They built a Vietnam Village that was so real it was left for us to train many Basic Trainees who had the pleasure to serve our country during this war. Didn’t stay for 20 years but put in 10+ years, thank you for your service Senior Master Chief!!!
@Bob KD5FJD: Pleasure serving our country in a war started by lies? The Gulf of Tonkin incident NEVER Happened, nothing was accomplished, and 58,000 Americans died for nothing. My older brother was drafted in 69 & served in your lovely war. His name was Pvt. David L. Palmer, Panel 10w, Row 30, The Wall
@nerblebun you sound a little unhinged there... I'm not sure what you hoped to accomplish by going through all that with a total stranger. Hopefully getting that off your chest made you feel better.
