@@zTheBigFishz one of my favorite cars is the c6 z06 simply for that reason. Manual transmission, roaring v8, all motor, rwd, and fast as hell. Everything people say about these cars, good or bad, goes away when you get behind the wheel. It provides a raw and exhilarating experience that not a lot of cars can provide, especially these days. They're light and handle really well too. Great in a straight line, and amazing around a track. This goes for the c6 z06/zr1, and c7 z06/zr1 really.

I was 8 and my Dad's friend Ed, who worked for Dodge, came over to give us a ride in his newly-acquired 71 Super Bee. The only car I had ridden in up to that point was a Pontiac Catalina wagon and my grandfather's Oldsmobile sedan. Ed eased it onto the highway and punched the gas. It was like the sky cracked open. First time I test drove the thing I got onto the highway, which was a ramp with a speed limit of 25, I rolled into the throttle up until 35 then punched it - once it downshifted holy shit it blew me away. Sunk back into the seat and flew by everyone, I heard it roar going through the highway underpass so loud; even with the windows up. I went from 35 to 80 in what felt like only a few seconds. @@GERONIMO326 i have a 13 grand sport 6 speed manual. The thing is a lot of fun. The only real downside is how low the car is. Sometimes I think a camaro would have been a better choice because I literally can't make it up any kind of bump/incline without hitting the splitter. I have about 3.75" of ground clearance.

King of the hill. It takes a lot of mods on most cars to equal a two-generation old stock car that was based on a car that came out in 1997. A 25 year-old platform. With an engine design dating back to the 50's. I love these cars and all the Vettes from C5-C7. They will probably be relevant forever even if the looks don't age well like a 911.

My dad has an LS3 C6 Convertible and while it's not the most focused sports car in base form (compared to my 350z & 370z), it's still hella fun. The car is super capable on the street and since it's never driven in a competitive setting, the top down makes it for a different type of drive and vibe. These C6 Vettes will be classics for sure.
