So I just bought the mini 3 pro, and it’s asking me to log in, but how does it connect to internet out in the desert? It says check connection and that’s as far as I get.
You need to connect the remote to a wifi and internet to complete the initial setup. Then you don’t need any internet to fly.

Brilliant video thanks… I went to do it and it mentioned about erasing photos and apps from my phone for some very odd reason. I then reset my network and logged back in and that worked 👍
Anyway to do this with a screen that doesn’t respond? You’d have thought there was a way without touching the screen…

Because of the video I posted some hours later about declassifying your drone where a common issue is that you get a network error.

Will factory reset force firmware update?
Not necessary. A factory reset would not downgrade the firmware.

Why is resetting necessary?
Its only necessary if things are not working properly or expected. Or in the case settings are messed up etc.

My device had an issue during firmware update and I've had trouble with it since. Resetting deletes data but doesn't actually reset everything, so location isn't working and some internet config won't be deleted, preventing me from logging into one wifi network.
