Very helpful review. I'm upgrading from an LG and this is my first step into Samsung phones. 6.2 is fine for the size (my LG is 6.4). So far I'm leaning towards the slightly cheaper but still powerful Galaxy S20.

Reasons to get the plus: 1. Bigger battery is better for using power share. 2. Better for Visual because of bigger screen. The smaller phones also don’t play nice with Samsung’s VR headsets. I have the 2018 version and the S9 sucks for this. The S9 heats up too fast. I am looking forward to trading my S9 in for a S20+

Great review, I'll read the rest. I wonder if the SoC on both have the nice GPU Qualcomm says supports console quality graphics. I also enjoy photography/videography.
Very good review, I use the S10+ & I usually upgrade every year. I'm with Verizon & my interests are in the base model which they don't carry yet? Not until quarter 2 with the proper 5g waves. I do like the form factor of the base model 6.2 would be perfect for my uses. Plus the 120hz display & 12gigs of ram. Waiting?
I'm with Verizon also I currently have the ultra but I feel it's too big so I ordered a unlocked s20 as I don't care about 5g and my area probably won't have it for a few years anyway.
You are literally the best reviewer out there, period. The way you took the minute to explain 120hz refresh rate and why you would want it or the different types of 5g sets you apart imho........Great Job!!
So how is it as........a PHONE? These reviews tend to always overlook the primary purpose of these devices.....how do they operate in making, retaining and receiving calls and how is the qualify of the voice sent and received?
Very good in depth review. These displays are fabulous. I use the S10+ and even with 60hz still excellent. Will I upgrade, still on the fence? I also have the pixel4xl and I compare it's 90hz display against my S10+. The plus is just as good with higher brightness. I really like the s20+, 120hz & 12gigs of ram. Samsung has done an excellent job with all three?
Sounds good. I'll be getting the cosmic grey one. I've got the s8 at the minute and it is still good apart from the battery life. Is the battery life good with the s20? Can it last a full day with no charge. I could do with it as I need to with my job x
In paper S20+ it is amazing however right now a lot of users around the world are facing the color lines on the screen and the saddest part Samsung it’s not taking any responsibility about this faulty issue with their screens and android upgrade. Last time I purchased a Samsung phone.

Bro India isn't getting 5G anytime before 2022. If you plan on using your phone for more than 2-3 years, only then you should care about buying a 5G phone. Although don't just buy the S20 yet, wait for the Oneplus 8 series. It'll give you the best of everything
You were supposed to compare the 2 phones. What is the difference between battery life on the s20 and s20+? What is the difference between the battery life of exynos and snapdragon versions. Thanks for telling 120hz drains more battery like everyone else didn't already know that. Dumbest comparison ever! 😑
Phones are getting way too large,I wasn't an iPhone fan but opted to go that because of the small size of the iPhone 11 pro.very comforting in the hands.
I'm in protland with a 20+ and 5g, its nice i suppose but at the moment I think it's silly to get it for the 5g when the quality of the 5g is different from neighborhood to neighborhood even here.
If you own the s10 series not worth the upgrade,my biggest gripe with Samsung phones are their camera's suck always cloudy too much exposure even after adjusting settings
Funny how all american tech reviewers keep complaining about the high price of the new galaxy phones! When apple keeps selling phones that are more expensive for two years on a row🤔 BIAS ,,,fyi im using an iphone 11 pro max
The iPhone has iOS, no other OEM has that so you cannot compare as they are different operating systems. Samsung fans always whine about the cost being questioned and use the iPhone as an excuse because they cannot compare with other Android phones that offer far better value and in some cases similar spec for half to a third the price. The s20 Ultra is more expensive than the iPhone in some markets and will be $500 more than the OP8 Pro. Strictly for Samsung fans like you.
Originally wanted Ultra but reviews are advising battery gets rinced like a sponge due to massive screen, and 'space zoom' in phony - advertised as losing no quality but it does. I have S9+ I will go for S20+ I thought about S20, it's even bigger than my S9+ 🤷♂️🤭
Best Buy has a Save $450 off the S20 plus. Add on the $350 trade that I have, and the price goes way down. That’s the time to buy if you’re in the market for the non stylus S lineup.

Im getting the s20 plus next week!:) got it at 88 dollars because i have a contract and im so excited
Using the Note 10 currently but really looking at the S20. I am not fond of my sub 2k screen, less than expected battery and non expandable memory. The HD screen is nice but I should have went with the Note 10+.
Yes i think you convince yourself 1080 is .... not so bad , but then after a while you find , it is definitely not as good as the 2k .
@@mikldude9376 I used the GS8 and loved the screen but battery was even worse. God forbid I used the battery on powerful setting I would get 2.5 hrs of use.
pinky1900's wait for a bit
@@pinky1933 mine on s8 plus is not sooo bad
these "smart" phones are getting ridiculously expensive...
Smart phones for dumb people? 😂😂
you give with a beautiful smile..so you explain it brilliantly..I ordered s20 + (the price is 599 sfr) and was I wrong..was there any better purchase for that money..I salute you from the bottom of my heart
Great review. Could you please help me do some tests?
1, Does the ultra wide camera has auto focus ? Shoot an object around 1.5 meter, see if it in focus or not ?
2, Does the ultra wide camera has 10 minutes limitation when it shoot 4K 30FPS video ?
3, Does the camera use continuous AE/AF when shooting photo/Video ?
Great review, I'll read the rest. I wonder if the SoC on both have the nice GPU Qualcomm says supports console quality graphics. I also enjoy photography/videography.
Which one should I get note 20 vs the galaxy s20 plus, s20 ?
what the colour of s20...white or cloud blue?
I`m a bit partial to the blue ;) .
That is the cloud blue. I did not find the white here so I just got it. Looks really good.
I had the smaller s20 but had to change to the plus cos the battery was really bad. The battery on s20 plus is better even when using the 120 hz
Great review, Jessica! Keep up the good work!
I got no beef with this lady.
@Yorky Gonzalez Tend to agree.
Using the 20+ i think it as a tablet more than a phone and i love it.
If you think of the S20+ as a tablet, you clearly haven't use many modern flagships.

Phones are getting too big
Some say that the s10 has a better sound, that the s20 sounds more metallic and with less bass, do you think the same?
So how is it as........a PHONE? These reviews tend to always overlook the primary purpose of these devices.....how do they operate in making, retaining and receiving calls and how is the qualify of the voice sent and received?
Very good in depth review. These displays are fabulous. I use the S10+ and even with 60hz still excellent. Will I upgrade, still on the fence? I also have the pixel4xl and I compare it's 90hz display against my S10+. The plus is just as good with higher brightness. I really like the s20+, 120hz & 12gigs of ram. Samsung has done an excellent job with all three?
Just purchased the S20 and I love it. &its Pink!!!!
Raquel Alvarado my upgrade is due.. is it worth it? What's the best features on the S20
Its really nice, first off its bigger than my s10e so thats a plus! Camera is probably the best part and all the photos you can take!
Last time I purchased a Samsung phone.
s20+ is $400 off through Verizon right now.
it was a comparison and u did not compare the battery! just told us that 120 hz is gonna drain the battery!! cummon!
Which model are
One of the biggest issues for me is that the s20 doesn't come in black. Almost a deal breaker
2:42 that what she said.
CNET please Reply if you see my comment this time in next couple of I want to buy s20 in indiA there is exynos variant it's not 5g is that buy for future proofing and also in india there are lots of 5g phone launches from many brand . I just confused about 5g and future proofing
Bro India isn't getting 5G anytime before 2022. If you plan on using your phone for more than 2-3 years, only then you should care about buying a 5G phone.
Although don't just buy the S20 yet, wait for the Oneplus 8 series. It'll give you the best of everything
Thank you for the great opening comments - exactly what I was wondering about
You were supposed to compare the 2 phones. What is the difference between battery life on the s20 and s20+? What is the difference between the battery life of exynos and snapdragon versions.
Thanks for telling 120hz drains more battery like everyone else didn't already know that. Dumbest comparison ever! 😑
is there not a ram difference ? 8gb on s20 and 12gb on plus ?
Phones are getting way too large,I wasn't an iPhone fan but opted to go that because of the small size of the iPhone 11 pro.very comforting in the hands.
Great video comprision watching with my S20 plus
Is the size good? Or is it too big?
@@v3nomgamez247 the size good for me 👍
@@usmanabdulkadir3334 how is The battery?
she says there's ONLY difference btw S20 & S20 Plus is of Size,Battery,Camera,Price. thats the whole damn phone lmao
In the UK we don't get the Snapdragon chip. Shame on you Samsung
So far the best review yet
It is a failed phone, and the proof of that is that his camera is prominent because when you put it on the table his first contact will be the camera
You can avoid that by putting a case on it lol.
The s20 is 8GB ram and the s20 Plus is 12 GB ram does that make a big difference?
Not bias, just something unusual for Samsung, and people don’t adjust well to change initially. They will get it together...
The prices are really good if you look for offers. Got s20 for 700, it's here cheaper than iphone 11 and much better
Originally wanted Ultra but reviews are advising battery gets rinced like a sponge due to massive screen, and 'space zoom' in phony - advertised as losing no quality but it does.
I have S9+ I will go for S20+
I thought about S20, it's even bigger than my S9+ 🤷♂️🤭
Which one is better , when sending multiple pictures to someone in a text. I'm looking for a new phone
Legit about to get the plus because an s20 won't ship to me until December 😂
Where to you live?
Best Buy has a Save $450 off the S20 plus. Add on the $350 trade that I have, and the price goes way down. That’s the time to buy if you’re in the market for the non stylus S lineup.
If you don't have tablet or laptop, you can go with S20+. Size matters stuff 😁
Hello..I have a BIG question and I would like to know what you think..
Should I get the samsung s20 plus 4g or should I go higher with samsung s20 plus 5g ?
(I am living in Greece and will probably keep the phone for 3-4+ years)
If you are going to keep it for a long time I would get the 5g because that new technology is going to become more common place
Both are 5 g bro. 🙄🙄🙄
The galaxy s20 ultra is the king out of the s20/s20 plus hands down
Great thing about Samsung phones is the price drops immediately
Camera notch is a big No for me. I'll stick with my S8 for now!
Brilliant comparison. Quick to the point, no nonsense.
Great review as always thank you I'm in the market not only for a new phone but for a new service provider I am done with AT&T
T-Mobile has been reliable across the country.
I drove big trucks for a few years.
Great rates, too.
am a longtime Galaxy user ... starting from Galaxy S2... the best was S7 .. specially the camera quality ... but the new S20 Ultra is dissapointing .. 108 MP is just useless .. I just switched from S10e to the normal 4G S20... expecting a better camera quality with the said 563 PPI ... but after my 1 week usage ... am very dissapointed with the S20 camera also .. the photos are very poor quality ... even if compared to S2 ..i wud say the photos on Samsung Galaxy S2 released many years back is much far better ...
better buy an Iphone 11 pro
Does anyone else with s20 plus not even come close to 4500 mAh? I have 1 that seems to only charge to 4100 and another that charges under 4000
In camera app whenever I press single leaf it takes me to 3x zoom. Is it possible to make it 2x by default.
If both price is the same which one will you choose.
