I have to love Garou. Because he's pure, leaving a side the discuss about the moral of his acts, he has a really strong own philosophy without any imposed concept. That's why he's that kind with kids, he's not really an evil person, there's nothing with kids in his way, so there's not even a thought of using them as possible
hostage. They really did a good job giving life to this character.
I agree he reminds me of Vegeta with his pride
He's not kind to every kids, just the ones that remind him of his "weak" side. He wants to prove himself that even as a "weakling" he can still whoop everybody's asses, but you get the idea.

There's just something about Garou that I can't put my finger on... But whatever it is I always end up hoping he wins his fight and I always get excited to see him. Can't wait for the next episode to come out!

My Hero Academia tried to do something similar with Slain "I think that was his name", the dude that hated heroes. But boy did the fail at it compared to the masterpiece that is called GAROU

Stain was more extreme with his ideology and methods. My Hero Academia is slightly more realistic than One-Punch man (Duh!).
But yes, Garou is more likeable for his appearance and charisma.

I like how Garou is just a better Stain.
This. I never cared for Stain that much. Found other villains in MHA more compelling. Garou fascinates me and I love scenes when the antihero/neutral goes against a bad guy.
The villains in MHA are good but Garou is much better. Also, his real intentions haven't been mentioned yet. He talked about them in the webcomic.
Stain and garou are not alike.... Stain fights for more balanced justice since alot of unworthy heroes are claiming to be heroes, while garou is trying to destroy all heroes because he says that villans are treated more differently than heroes....

I like how we are rooting for Garou as a hero. More than Saitama.. All we expect out of saitama is to one punch any one in his way. My personal thought about him: Garou is such an incredible character. Don't you notice how much empathy and possession he feel? He could just as easily use his strength and kill the people he fights, but he knocks them down and leaves them. He hasn't killed anyone yet. He just wants to show that you do not care if you are villains or heroes, see what their reason is, that you should use just as much empathy for the villains and monsters. We should not always listen to the stories of the heroes but also of the others. Garous wants to show that there should be balance. What he wanted is not to hurt anyone and belittle anyone for who he is. Do not oppress anyone and should look into their hearts. You shouldn't put someone down because of their strength. Garou is so sensitive and wants to protect those who are weak. Do you remember the words he said to the kid in the playground? He said to get stronger so as not to get hurt. He also protect the kid in the fight, and he stopped fighting the metal boy because of the little sister. When the bad guys came to kidnap the girl, Garou distracted them. Do you not notice what kind of world we live in? The good-looking stronger ones are always viewed and recognized. The weaker, on the other hand, are kicked, spat at and treated vulnerably. It was only because Garou was weak as a child that he was bullied and his heart was broken several times. Hero and villain. We don't need both. We just want justice and balance. Nobody should be hurt. Garou is the real hero of this story. He has had to endure so much, he has so much sensitivity and empathy. Don't you notice who the real hero is here? He is very strong, he's such a great character. I love him, his strength, his words, his charisma..

I think Garou is just showing the world his rage, he may have been told at a young age that he'll never be a hero.. recent episodes show some light to this, as he gives a kid advice on how to stand up to bullies, this is how he was always treated at a young age, in my opinion. He was bullied, he lacked strength, then a hero came along and showed him how to become stronger, he ultimately wants to show the world who they have messed with, he wants revenge on everyone, he's become a monster with pure hate towards those who call themselves 'heroes'. Heroes are meant to save everyone, I'm guessing that because he was always bullied, no heroes came to his rescue because they had much bigger priorities to fight and protect the earth, than protect those who are getting bullied. Heroes are always meant to be there for you, no matter what.. he learned through his mistakes, by getting stronger and now he passed that message along to the kid, in hopes that he will follow Garou's footsteps, to become someone who is able to stand up for themselves and to fight through tough times, even if heroes don't protect them. I envy Garou, for all that he has been through, I'm sure many of you can agree with me on this.. he's honestly my favourite character out of this whole series and I honestly want him to thrash Saitama. Though we know he won't win in the end, because Saitama is the very definition of victory, a true hero who always protects everyone, even when people have made fun of him and blamed him countless times, that is a true hero who lives up to everyone's expectations. I honestly hope their showdown is a very hard-fought battle, I honestly want to see Saitama and Garou use their full strength, I want to see them both struggle.

@Gray Kin I can say I'm somewhat right about him being bullied. I knew this would be an outcome because he supported monsters and the other kids made fun of him for supporting monsters. As a kid he always wanted everyone to be treated the same, whether they are human or monsters, I think he just wants to show that monsters can win and this is his way of honouring them.

Can we just acknowledge the fact that Garou fought 8 heroes while dodging arrows, bullets, chains and a ball, and he did so while having injuries and fever and poison in his body. The man is a true legend and is the only villain that i want to win.
