Man this theme really suits both these characters
The Violin being Bang symbolising that of experience, patience & skill whilst also being a instrument that has been around for hundreds of years
Where as the Electric Guitar being Garou symbolising his rage, arrogance & recklessness where as the electric guitar has only been around for about 60-100 years
These two instruments clashing together really fits this fight and how both characters are with their personalities

I honestly think it the other way around. The violin is Garou since you have to foster it since childhood in most cases and deliver it with determination.
An old geezer like Bang is much simpler and sticks more to his ways like the less versatile e-guitar.

He’s fast enough to avoid getting hit by Saitama during a mock battle where Flash is attempting to test his skills. Despite his techniques however, Saitama still gets him backed into a corner. He later goes head to head with Sonic before being interrupted by a lot of ninjas.

I thought it somewhat sad that Garou vs Bang ended up being an extreme smackdown, but maybe Bang and Garou will be evenly matched later on? At that point, I'd be rooting for Bang anyways. What's not to like about the master, anyway? He took a punch from Melzargard full on and simply shrugged it off. His Flowing Water Rock Smashing Fist is a perfect balance between offense and defense and can pummel anything in his way into oblivion. And he barely takes any damage while in the state.
Plus, with Bomb and the Fist of Roaring Ki Rending Air, they molted Elder Centipede. Sure, that wasn't much, but that carapace is virtually impenetrable and they managed to break at least the outer shell. That, in my book, is an amazing feat.

So awesome man! I can really get a feel of "Master vs Student" with this theme. It was so hype when Bang showed up, and told Garou to stand up and face him. *epic music starts to play* Garou slowing bringing himself back up while cracking he's bones back in place to face he's master.
Thats why in this anime titled one punch man i prefere by far those characters who appears however and put so much hype into the anime

Apparently they are Grandfather and Grandson...I saw this on google but it's not a credible source and there's not mention of him having any other family apart from Bomb, even though they are both similar in looks such as both have white hair (Bang had white hair which was in his prime 50 years ago when he was 30).
