I will suggest offerings, thoughtfulness, and treating others with kindness and love. Be as the fox, compassionate and caring, clever and mischievous, but bearing no ill. Remember to stay playful at-heart, and be grateful for even the smallest of blessings.
Another way, may be to try forming connections to her kitsune. Spending time with them, being respectful, and appreciative.
Then there are the ways of the religious, which while I do not detest, nor discourage, Are not personal preference. Kami may be like gods but I do not obligate myself to them, I devote myself-not out of necessity, but respect and admiration.
@@Akira-Aerins I know this is three months late at my writing of this, and I have no idea as to why my notifications never told me people were still commenting, but you have laid out a beautiful and amazing methodology here. I may be a member of Shusse Inari of America, but I did so out of respect, not out of simply seeking a higher power to pray to once in a blue moon.
In my experience, be it spiritual or fully religious, one must become close to OKamisama with sincerity and honesty. In all walks of life we should strive to become better people every day. This doesn't necessarily mean hefty donations, charity drives and grand gestures, but also simply being there for others, especially in today's age.
My Guji (Senior Priest) talks about being compassionate to everyone, not just those who think like you or follow the same belief. Be kind, compassionate and hold to those convictions, even when it is the hardest thing to do.
Minor pentatonic scale + koto = vibey Japenese music 👌 And that percussion just hits me in that Ghibli g-spot.

Update Dec 2021: This is my official morning Norito Song, and after joining Shusse Inari of America, I feel like this song brings me closer to Okamisama in ways I have previously not felt. Thank you Danny Fortress, thank you for this song that words fail me at. Its simplistic beauty is just as wonderous as it was a year ago. Every time I take part in Oharae No Kotoba I think of this song. Truly miraculous.

@@Indrajeet96 Inari O-Kami (稲荷大神) is a Japanese Shinto-Buddhist Kami dedicated to a multitude of things such as Foxes, Agriculture, Fertility , and Prosperity (And sword-smithing surprisingly). This Kami can be sometimes depicted as up to 5 separate Entities! Inari O-Kami has roots all the way back to the 8th Century, before the beginning of even the Heian Era (Where we begin to see Samurai / Bushi) at 711 A.D. when a shrine was founded on Inari Mountain; and even stretched as far back as the 5th Century.
(Shintoism : Proto-Japanese Polytheistic Religion based around the idea that everything has some form of Spirit (Kami)).
