This era was peak Kidman, she was so stunningly gorgeous in EWS, Moulin Rouge, To Die For, and especially Dogville. I know people love to give her shit about the work she's had done since then, but she's still beautiful to this day. Not just her physical looks, but her entire aura and energy is so sexy and captivating. And she is so fearless in every role she takes on. And as amazing as Uma Thurman was in Nymphomaniac, I still wish Kidman would have been able to play that part as originally planned. But Uma was so fucking raw and terrifying, so I can't be too disappointed.
She has a wonderful spirit!

She's so gorgeous and such a bad ass. I love her mindset about working with von Trier. Similar to what Uma Thurman has said about him. Actressess seem to like working with him.

@@srallulrich We do not have to take sides. Perhaps something happened with Björk and not other people. It seemed like something personal happened between them and we were not there.
I would overall think that he has been accused of being a misogynist for Random reasons that don’t really make sense to me. But at the same time that doesn’t mean Bjork’s experience should be negated. I just don’t know. And I think that’s fair.
@@srallulrich by the way even if somebody acted like “a garbage human“ as if we could define such a thing and somehow one persons definition could be trusted, that doesn’t mean they deserve to be harassed or whatever.
well - Kidman did refuse to work with von Trier again -- Dogville was supposed to be the first movie in a trilogy, but she pulled out. She was being diplomatic here, but you could see the tension between them when they appeared together @ Cannes that year.
Geez this guy is whiffing left and right with his questions. Is this the same guy that interrupts people constantly on the actors round table?
I dig how she doesn’t give in to the douchebag interviewer. This interview makes me respect her more as a person and an actress.

That is the first time I hear her speak with Australian accent. She sounds so different than she does in the movies where she plays British or American characters.

A scoop about Lars being abusive. I'm Jewish so I don't like him as a person but he's definitely an extraordinary man, vision and intellect wise.
