I really hope state of decay adds more to the base building, hopefully a bit more free-from. It would be nice to go from being a small, wandering band to setting up a proper settlement and slowly surviving every increasing hordes until you eventually have a fortress built up. It feels like a gap in the market that has never fully been met (most attempts have been poor or dealing with just 1 or 2 aspects of it).
The studio is currently looking at a 2027 release date, so folks might want to just forget this game is in the works for a few years, so they don't get too bored/frustrated with waiting. :\
I just want a proper coop where we can manage the same base with friends. That or we esch have our bases in a shared world a bit like rust or Minecraft, without the mmo stuff
It just doesn’t feel like they’ve been used to what would be perfection yet. Like H1Z1’s original, but then they back tracked and destroyed the entire game, making it into that shell if a battle royale crap.
@@Norinia yeahhh exactly, as much flaws as it had it had the abandoned energy perfectly, old overgrown looking buildings, walking around in this world its so awesome and i wish there was a game like that (day z is a no)
Didn't expect to find so many games to immediately go onto my wishlist! Pacific Drive, Kingdom, STALKER, Road to Volstok and were added right away, but Showa and Armored Core are what I'm the most excited about!
Sounds like the long-awaited game "The Day Before" made by Russians that took the money they made off of the game and ran leaving glitches unfixed, no updates etc. I will never purchase a game again that's not made by a reputable company.
Ooooh that Transformers apocalypse game looks amazing. That looks like a mix of mass effect 3 and terminator. Seriously man that is an awesome idea. Hopefully we can create our own character & maybe play as the transformers once we revive them.
Love you guys and the tasty constant content! Just really quick, Will Smith's character in I Am Legend is named Robert Neville (just like the book) and his character in this upcoming game is Trey Jones.
The description of arc raiders is very reminiscent of Defiance, where the earth was invaded and two of the main characters are introduced as arc hunters who search for tech in the wrecks of the war
I am so excited to play remnant 2 a absolutely had a blast with the first game with my friends and played it a ton solo as well . Really interested to try out the new changes in 2.
Ghost runner was great and I can't wait for the second, but the first definitely had a learning curve. Took a few rage quits to get me in the groove of the mechanics and gameplay. After you get a handle on those the game is nothing but a fast paced joy ride worth every penny
Some pretty interesting games on this list, many I never heard of. But the 3 I am most excited for are Heartland, Frostpunk and Armored Core - especially AC. Been a fan since the series debuted on the PS1, got hooked on it from the demo disc that came with my PlayStation.
With that terminator the way that it opened the door and looked at its hand with it's optical sensors contracting almost looks like it has it own mind that would be sweet to be able to play as one and you help the humans while stealing parts from the other machines to upgrade yourself
Frankly, I think the post apocalyptic theme is getting worn out. The fact that there is a list of 25 that are coming out soon is evidence. It's now more than in the early 2000's when every new game was a WW2 game. Don't get me wrong, I like the post apocalyptic theme in games, but not when it is overused and contributes to a lack of variety with new games.
Stellar blade and remnant 2 are the 2 I’m looking really forward too. The first Remnant was awesome and very underrated. And StellerBlade looks like Bayonetta, but with better enemies and a darker vibe. Can’t wait !
Oh man. Def looking forward to the new armored core. I spend so many hours grinding in those games to make the bed robots. I’m glad they bringing it back
I'm excited for Armored Core. I remember playing with my friends back in the day. Showing off builds and what they can do. I spent hours in the decal editor. I took a premade decal of a lady riding a bomb (Dr. Strangelove reference) and edited her to be topless. My friends freaked out "how did you do that?! Your pinup looks so good!" Man, I'm getting old.
As always a great vid. Just a suggestion: consider keeping the title of the game constantly on the screen. It would really help a lot to remind myself of the title in videos like this - with a lot of titles.
hyped for Remnant 2 and Armored Core 6. Underrated games not talked about enough. Pragmata and Arc Raiders seem to be very cool. Need to circle back to my Death Stranding play through. A few others could be promising too. Hope to see more!
Man i can't wait for Arc raiders and Stellar Blade, been in love with both since their first reveals and yet we aren't getting any release dates or anything :(
14:35 to 14:45 Jack mentions the samething but with two different takes. It's like someone interrupted, and he redid it without scrapping the take or someone did a bad cut and paste.
I know this is about upcoming new games but one of my favorite post apocalyptic games is Nier: Automata. I just got to playing it this year and i regret not playing it sooner.
So many post apocalyptic games to play...Wow that's a lot. Hopefully one day I could play all these games but for now I am looking to the specific ones here like state of decay 3, the division heartland and death stranding 2. Great video 👍.
Im excited for Division Heartland to release, I loved the first 2 (the second i played nearly to completion as I was told you'll get the gist of the story in the 2nd one, played several hours of the first) . Cool game, wonder how they'll leverage the new tech in the new consoles
They really are. I remember buying the original State of Decay when it first released on the 360 and not really enjoying it. Then when it came to Xbox One in 2015 (?), I bought it again (because I really like zombie games, and wanted to enjoy it) and played it and all of the DLCs and really enjoyed it. My friend and I gave 2 numerous shots but neither of us enjoyed it enough to play it through. 3 has been on my radar since It's announcement though. Hopefully it mixes the good things from the original & 2 together to make something awesome.
Getting so over zombies and post apocalyptic games. It’s been decades, can we give it a break? Hoping extraction shooters take off a bit more like ARC.

Crazy how we still dont have a The Walking Dead type of game, where you could build a group of people, create bigger and bigger settlements and just wander NA. Biggest enemies are humans not slow zombies. Imagine co-op experience like the tv series. I’d say the closest feel was TLOU, but it lacks the survival elements and is too linear. Though you do explore NA and it feels very immersive
I wish they made a game where the U.S lost in WW2. Japan took over the west side while the Nazi has the East. The U.S are still in the Midwest, still fighting for survival and to reclaim America.
Renewing my life expectancy for state of decay 3, stalker, and arc raiders.
I'm really going for it, adjusted mine for fallout 5 lol
SOD would be such a good zombie game if it was actually zombies and not mutants.
I’m ready for state of decay 3
