Always have loved Ian Carmichael in just anything. He is perfect as lord Peter Wimsey.😊 Thanks for the upload.

Wonderful. I wasn’t aware of this version at all - what a fabulous cast. Although dare I say I think the BBC’s 1987 production with Paul McGann (available on RUclips) is still probably the best.

I loved this, but I kept wondering why Jack and Algernon didn’t give up on Cecily and Gwendolen and just get a room with eachother.

This version is abridged, so many lines have been omitted.

Pamela Brown makes an excellent Lady Bracknell. The problem with the role is that every single actress tries to find a different way from Dame Edith Evans of delivering the "Handbag" line. Most do not succeed but Pamela gives it a damn good try!!

My favourite rendition of the story solely because of Finella Fielding. She rocked it as Gwendolyn Fairfax.

I didn't recognise Wilfred Bramble at first.

Wonderfully, if not earnest, in speaking at a rapid clip to fit in the time allotted?
