I can't believe it's been over 40 years since that song was released. Barry was an anomaly back then because disco was at its peak and he came out with beautifully arranged love songs with Broadway appeal.Those songs meant everything to me then and I still love them..

My Mom was a huge fan of Barry Manilow, and I knew all of his songs too. I would've been starstruck as well. This was so sweet and uplifting. Big fan of both James & Barry.

How beautiful an artist should be to do it this good. James did it with utter respect to the artist just in the right level. He sang perfectly in tune but never intending to challenge Mr Manilow. He indeed was singing well but with respect and admiration at the same time. Love to all of them. One of the greatest videos I’ve ever seen on this show.
