dancefloor meant very little - you sure about that alex. because it literally is the reason you made it as a band, when it got hyped over the internet.
I think he meant that it doesn't have any deep lyrics and is a very straightforward song. Considering what he has written since he must be a bit embarrassed about the lyrics, but i'm sure he's grateful towards it anyway considering they play it at every gig.

Alex is as much of an actor as he is an artist. The way he changes his stage presence/look/mannerisms to fit the album or decade they’re trying to fit is unbelievable. All the while keeping such an excellent performance up

I mostly only listen to jazz these days, but this guy Alex Turner is really something else. A true artist, it's not that his music is the most complex, although it is pretty inventive, this man is a true musician, just a creative force. Truly excited to see what other direction he'll go in!

Also it's AMAZING that they can play TBHC live and it sounds EXACTLY like it does on the record. It has a lot more going on than your standard guitar-bass-drums, so it's really impressive.

I love the record, but no matter how much you love something you need to understand that people can have other opinions and may want to express them. the thing i like about AM is that everytime they do live, everything sounds different but yet it doesn't diminish the song itself. it's like hearing a new song but not really. i can't express it myself.
