If the guy made a sequel to this animation, I could imagine it being Link playing the UI theme on his ocarina, and it transforms him into Fierce Deity against Majora.

The transformation into beast Ganon and that half of the fight was probably some of the greatest fan animation I've ever seen on the internet, and I've been around since before Newgrounds was a thing. It's not even the graphical detail, it's the energy you were able to pull out of those frames and just the overall artistic flair. At certain points it almost looked like a Japanese watercolor piece, like something out of Okami. The way he stood looming over Link and Zelda after the transformation, and his figure warped and rippled like he was radiating heat...I literally got goosebumps and found myself gasping under my breath. I thought this was just gonna be some cheeky DBZ parody, but I honestly wish someone would just give you a chance and let you work on an original project. Again, I get that it's not the most detailed in terms of literal illustration, but you show an impressive knowledge of color grading and balance, lighting, depth, cinematography and blocking. It's one thing to have a super glossy animation that feels average and doesn't really evoke any emotion, but this is something entirely different. A small part of Toriyama lives on in you. From one artist to another...don't try to be like anyone else, don't borrow ideas from anyone or listen too intently to anyone, don't get distracted from your style and brand of creativity. Do what you know, be your own artist. Not everyone will understand it, and that doesn't matter. Whatever you do...don't stop creating.

I loved this! I will revisit this video many times for many years to come 💗 It was awesome how Link transformed by playing music. That's legitimately how enlivenment/enlightenment works in the real world by synchronizing with the cosmos or "music of the spheres/planets" as the ancient Greek Pythagoras taught. I would have been cool if Zelda manifested the Hylian Shield out of Ki at 5:29 for defense. The Hylian Shield is cool because it was originally forged to be "indestructible" by a Thunder Dragon I think according to the Skyward Sword game.

I love how I instantly recognize Link and Ganondorf are based off the main characters in dragon ball Z and I've never fully watched it before.
you definitely should read the manga! the anime is iconic but has many flaws, but the manga is still one of the very best, Toriyama was a virtuoso
This feels like the old newgrounds animations in the best of ways, from the lightning and blasts just essentially being scribbles to the anime references, even to the slip up on the song in the beginning and using soundbites from the game. It absolutely wouldve fit in back then, and it’s definitely even better that it released today in a media environment that feels so soulless. Incredible work.

It was awesome how Link transformed by playing music. That's legitimately how enlivenment/enlightenment works in the real world by synchronizing with the cosmos or "music of the spheres/planets" as the ancient Greek Pythagoras taught. I would have been cool if Zelda manifested the Hylian Shield out of Ki at 5:29 for defense. The Hylian Shield is cool because it was originally forged to be "indestructible" by a Thunder Dragon I think according to the Skyward Sword game.

@@Alzeal07 It is precisely because Goku does not wield both a shield and sword simultaneously with one per hand that he cannot maintain ultra instinct. I believe that only after handling a sword in one hand for offense while simultaneously holding a shield in the other hand for defense for several months or years on end can one's neuroplasticity embody divinity. Whis the angel pointed out to Goku that his inability to comprehend the politics of switching between offense and defense is precisely why Goku fails to sustainably embody divinity. The silver-tongued politician lives in between sword and shield as the tactful power of the pen, with the dominator-in-chief exploding on the one side and the protective husband imploding on the other side.
That's why Link was able to master divinity evidenced by the spirit who lives in the fierce deity mask. The pineal gland is a "fountain" that ejects aetheric power upwards so kundalini can reach up to the soul star exactly like a rocket needs a shit ton of fuel to achieve lift off. Kundalini does not terminate at the ends of the nostrils like many diagrams claim- that silver cord continues at least 6 inches above the head to enliven the golden soul star chakra. The soul star chakra cannot open properly without the earth star chakra opening simultaneously 6 inches below the souls of the feet. That's why the ground beneath Goku's feet abruptly depressed precisely 6 inches right before he transformed into a Ssj. He commanded both the power of the Earth & Soul Star chakras above and below respectively simultaneously.
Those who watch the Future Trunks special which looks back at Goku's first Ssj transformation will see Goku's pineal gland in the mid forehead region get animated to symbolize activation, and the next instant his hair turns golden yellow.
