- Hey Volks! I went on a short road trip recently to see two very nice VWs, a 1966 Pearl White Pigalle Beetle and to see a 1953 Split Zwitter Bug, both in south Florida. The seller is looking to have me sell them for him. If you are an interested buyer, you can reach me at 845.290.9900 for details.

Nice Bugs. He should order the Birth Certificate on the white beetle to confirm if it is the original engine or a period correct engine. Plus thinking the Birth Certificate could ad value.

The 66 looks almost identical to mine. I have a US model and that’s about it for what would change. I still run the original 1300 with 6 volts.

For a 66 it has the wrong outside doorhandles. The pushbutton was model 67 only, as far as I know
Actually late 66 started to bring in the round button.
@@classicvwbugs my bad, I just checked it in Etzold. Introduced May 1966. So this must be a late model 66
No driver's side mirror on the Zwitter?? That's a deal killer for me - that and the money 😉
Was there no heat from the heater channels on the 53?
Hello. I'm writing from Turkey. I like your channel and I enjoy too much when I watch your videos. So I have a little problem. i have a 1974 superbeetle. When I put my beloved octopus-type wheels on my vehicle, the tires protrude out of the front fender. Is there any way to fix this?
