So we have the same hair line. I am just curious what your plans are when it recedes so far it is noticeable? I think I will go with a dready mullet, or rat tail. What are your plans my guy?
I have had instant straight hair locs for over a year, I’m really regretting not going free form, u think I should just let it go and let me hair does what it does and try to Congo it or should I start over and do free form
A lot of my hair went through the stages of bumps and grooves but over time the bumps combined into a smooth lock. I still have some that I’ll show on my next video. Thanks for the comment :)
U wash ur hair once in two weeks. Ok that’s fine. But do u atleast wet ur hair with only water? Cuz if I don’t atleast wet my hair it’s going to be oily😢
Good luck! Have fun with it. You learn a lot on the way and it teaches you great patience. For the longest time, I was not confident with my appearance while growing them. Eventually, they reached a point of maturity where I loved them. Stay committed and let them do what they want. Do what feels right :)
How long does it take to dry after washing and what is washing it like in general do they stay damp and get smelly do you use shampoo and what techniques
My hair has never smelled. Just wanted to put that out there. Common misconception for dreadlocks. I use all natural Dollylocks shampoo and I wash once every two weeks. I scrub my scalp real well and squeeze the suds into my locks. I then squeeze them multiple times well running water on them. I do not towel dry them at all. I air dry them and they can take up to 14 hours to dry, sometimes less sometimes more. Thank you for asking! :)
Thanks for sharing your dreadlock journey with us! They look rad ❤ would love another update 🎉

How long have you been growing your hair?
Grew my hair out for about 4 or 5 years and then decided to stop brushing. Almost 3 years no brush
Sweet dude, they look great

I thought neglect meant didn’t wash. Not didn’t brush, that’s called freeform. You didn’t wash all this time?
No I wash every 2 weeks with Dollylocks shampoo. I think freeform and neglect can be interchangeable.
So crazy
I bet that hurts as hell..
I'll address this in my next video! :)
@@gavinlee1577 You're quite pretty with dreadies
Omg that is not a dread that's rubbish 😂
There Freeform Matted Locs. You shouldn't lower yourself and insult people, it shows everyone what kind of person you are 👍
