Not true. Mixing (depending on ingredients) will often times create a burn message because there is too much density on the bottom of the pot. This is true especially with starchy ingredients like pasta. All the ingredients in the pot cook at the same rate, regardless of whether or not they are stirred.
Great video! I never thought of red peppers and hot sauce with cabbage. Sounds good! I’ll try it! Thanks! It looks like we have multiple results with mixing ingredients in the instant pot. My experience is I get a burn message every time if the water isn’t on the first layer. Especially when I use cream soups. I mix my ingredients after I cook. God Bless You!💕❤️💕
I'm going to do this with 1/2 cabbage and the smallest smoked Turkey Drumstick I can find ... I am drooling in anticipation!
As long as you have enough liquid in the instantpot it will come to pressure mixing the ingredients have nothing to do with that lol
I was surprised 4 mins was long enough. Looked good!
I love the way you talk to yer mama, so sweet. Made me smile:) thank you
Thnx ShaniNicole. I appreciate it. Peace
Mixing the ingredients and when you do have no affects on it coming to pressure
OldVoiceofToday I was thinking the same thing.. how does mixing seasoning in with the cabbage stop the pressure?? BOL!!!
I've heard it affects whether things like pasta come to pressure and affects texture
