- This is part 1 of a series of videos I am going to make on rebuilding a dual point distributor. This is part 1 which shows how to disassemble it. I am working with an old crusty Mallory unit for a 340 small block Mopar that I picked up for $20 bucks. I am new to this, so please bear with me! Enjoy and stay tuned for part 2 and 3!

I don't think I've seen a video on recurving and tuning a distributor on a Dyno. I ran a couple dual point distributors back in the day, on small block Fords, but that was because the stock ones were so bad.
Well, I’m getting a new toy that will explain that!
