Thanks for the video & sharing this tip. Your tutorial is perfect. No one will have any issues, melting their chocolate after watching this video. Thanks. Take care ✌🏾
I used my hard plastic small Nordic Ware sauce pan. I used a large dark chocolate Lindt bar and a large milk chocolate Cadbury bar both broken up into small pieces. I stuck in microwave for 30 seconds, then stirred, 30 seconds then stirred, then 28 seconds and it came out perfect. As long as you use quality chocolate it always comes out perfect. I prefer bars as I can mix and match types and i find bars are typically higher quality than chips. I used them for the walnut cluster candy I created and they came out great!
Thank u!! ive been getting thick n lumpy melted chocolate chips for a long time, i have just tried ur method n my chocolate chips have melted into a smooth n silky texture easy to use and doesnt wreck my recipes 😍
Love this technique. I just used it to melt chocolate chips to coat green grapes and mixed berry granola. I frozen that to create a chocolate, granola and green grape bark. It worked incredibly well and made to whole process really fast. Thank you
Hey Sam! I have a quick question. Can you reheat your melted chocolate if it's been out for a little too long and hardened past the point that you can work it?
A tip for those who do not have a microwave: if you melt chocolate on the stovetop instead, be sure to use a double boiler on low heat (you can make your own with a heat-proof bowl on top of a pot). Do not try to melt chocolate on the stove directly, as doing so is likely to cause overheating and seizing, even with low heat. Also, make sure not to get any water or moisture from the double boiler into the chocolate, as this can also cause seizing.
Have you tried melting the sugar-free Lilly’s milk chocolate chips… I think my bowl got too hot or something because they seized up even though I was only doing 10 second increments.
I have not tried those particular chips. I like to do lots of stirring to try to melt everything once I know I'm getting close, but the particular chips you were using may have caused an issue. :(
Hmm, it does look a little messy. I didn’t notice when filming because it’s comfy and I was more focused on the important stuff: the chocolate. I do recipe videos and not fashion ones for a reason, anyone more focused on my clothing is encouraged to go elsewhere.
Yeah who tf cares about clothing/fashion (I know a lot of people do but in my opinion they shouldn’t) because as long as it covers your body to an appropriate manner it’s doesn’t matter what you wear.

Yes, you can, but it's more likely to be streaky once it dries. It won't affect the taste though. :)

❤I’m melting chocolate to use on my gingerbread house because it’s yummier than confectioners sugar. 😊

What an ugly comment. She is a beautiful person inside and out. You worried about clothes then go watch that kind of video.
