Cheating can be prevented. But as this world has many looser which will pay for cheats. The cheat industry have became a huge industry of millions. And cheating will be never properly addressed.

Currently I'm playing it about a month and come across only 3 cheating moment. One was invisible, other two were using speedhack and aimbot. So, EA Anticheat working well I guess.
Invisibility could also happen as a bug, im guessing because of either server performance, latency or rendering so maybe you ran into 2 cheaters... unless ofcourse it happened to the same dude more than once.

Best BF1 moment was when EA released BFV and turned off anti-cheat in 1 to force players to new game. There were no round without cheater and they could rampage for weeks before getting ban.
It's crazy that a company like EA/DICE is well aware of the extent of the issue with the cheaters on their games but does nothing about it. A big problem now in BF V is the cheater sellers that spam the chat channels. If you try to raise a post about it in their Answers HQ, they tell you to report in game and close your post. If you question this, they ban you for a day or two.

Same happens in other games, Torn Banner being quite an infamous example of banning accounts of people who criticize Chivalry 2 lack of anti-cheat. Seems to be a sad state of gaming industry nowadays.
Honestly, I think you’re right at the end for the compensation. I think they should definitely include the battlefield five pre-order weapons for everybody. I mean, you can get them on PC if you pay for EP but once you stop paying for this subscription, you don’t have the guns anymore but if you pre-ordered originally, you still have the guns no matter what. Make it easy for everybody to have that. I mean everybody’s getting the peacekeeper because they have help or they’re just a true phantom. I noticed you’re playing on PC but I do have something to mention. On console is still not safe from cheaters either.
This is a good example of why DICE is a horrible company, it’s their inability of becoming professional and taking their jobs seriously. Like seriously, they don’t even give a single damn about us but making money out of us, who agrees with me?

that fov is horrifying. the key bit - the middle - where the bad guys are is the smallest? doesnt that make it harder to be accurate when its all tiny? I dont think the tiny amount of peripheral vision you gain is worth it
Cheating in games only got prevalent once games became cross platform. Before it was once in a blue moon you'd bunp into it. But once all you needed to do was change a email address and go right back into the game it blew up
The M1912 Experimental is unlockable for everybody afaik? The BFV Pre-Order variants, Federov-Degytarev,BAR M1918A2,M1919 SMG,Mosin Carbine and the M1911A1
I know i just that image off the web to use as reference i dont know why the experimental was there? i guess it was just added late so they though it was part of the preorder guns

M1919 SMG is a Annihilator Factory (which is probably why i loved it) I prefer Automatico Factory to the trench cos the Trench is just so braindead easy to use. Federov-Degytarev is...Interesting more spread then the optical/trench variant but no recoil. BAR A2 is basically a BAR Low Weight. Again no recoil Mosin Carbine as far as i can tell since it uses the 1895 bullet it therefore is a Russian 1895 Trench but with a little worse hipfire. Since Mosin/1895 have same sweetspot it was a fairly dumb addition. M1911A1 is literally just a reskin...no different then Hellfighter M1911/Doughboy M1911/M1911 Standard +Silenced..I did test it it has same recoil/same dmg drop off/everything its just a skin :l I really wish they would release the Arditi Dagger...its the only thing i dont have. in 8 years..I managed to get the Ararebo (dice battlepack glitch) But never managed to get the Dagger.
Right let me set things right. The invisible player with a knife isn't always a cheater. Usually an exploiter. I used to know gow to do it. But if you switched from your melee everyone could see you. It was a weird take down glitch where a friend on the other side was needed.
@Cpt._Caty that I understand, I guess PC has it tough then. I've always been used to playing console and haven't seen a cheater in almost a year. Although a lot of them use Kronus nowadays and most of them can't get banned for using it. The only thing I've seen now is no recoil and that is it.

I suspect invisibilty might be an exploit because I witnessed an invisible person back in BF4 in playstation. The guy was running around shotgunning everybody. Higly unlikely he was hacking due to the nature of console gaming and the fact that BF4 doesn't have crossplay. This possible exploit could have passed one to BF1 but I haven't seen in that game (in playstation) and the BF4 incident only occured once.
I do NOT have the option to report someone for cheating in my dropdown menu in the EA app... Hacking, yes, but not cheating... oO EDIT: Oh they just did the translation wrong, it means something like scamming lol
I only see cheaters in official servers. Stick to community admin servers and it's a clean game. On the other hand you'll have to deal with absurdly stacked teams.
The preorder guns are not pay2win at all theyre kinda bad , the bar is really bad why not just play the chauchat it's the same thing but it actually kills , the mosin has a worse iron sight , the avtomat has too much spread so it's impossible to kill someone even at medium range , and the 1919smg is just useless because why would you want a gun that recovers precision faster when ur just going to shoot all 20 bullets and it has worse recoil and worse precision then the 2 other free versions

There's been a few cheaters still. My favorite is always the 180 degree snap and headshot. Or the across the map headshot.

Plenty of closet cheaters in community servers. I even saw an admin banned once. I’d been a regular for years… nowhere is truly safe on pc anymore.

NBK clan are cheaters. They all use a moddedzone controller. They use medic class and have rapid fire and auto aim on.
