Tsaritsyn as S tier is wild. Most of the time its just whoever caps the middle flag at the start wins. If it doesnt turn into a one sided spawn camp, its just a total clusterf*ck at the middle objective.
I have same feeleings... there are several entrances to cathedral but it's still to hard to capture... there should be some entrance through the first floor
Sinai Desert is likely so popular because it’s the map where pretty much EVERYTHING is made available, plenty of tanks, Calvary, generous attack plane and bomber spawns, armored cars, large sightlines for Medics and Supports to hold their ground with, lots of buildings in the most important control points for Assaults to wage CQC, and rocks and cliffs for Scouts to snipe over on top of I find actually find the map kind of ass partly for that reason but there’s little denying that it’s the place to go if you want to see a little bit of every kind of bullshit I myself usually prefer the more infantry leaning maps with some vehicles to keep everyone on their toes and a spectacle to behold without making it an infantry farming map, Zeebrugge, Somme, Amiens, Nivelle Nights, Prise, etc. Odd favorite maps out being stuff like Heligoland Bight and Albion for being pretty unique in design
@ yeah and trying to cross the desert either in a bike or on foot feels like a death sentence, if the weather mechanics allowed it then the heat would kill you before a wandering patrol car or sniper would
My S tier is smaller maps still with the ability to flank with a armored car if your team is crap but you have a decent squad. Amiens, Suez, Ballroom, FAO and EE by boat. Argonne and Achi Baba can be flanked on foot but needs to be timed perfectly. I would put Nivelle in E, if it was slightly smaller infantry only or slightly bigger with more vehicles I would like it more, doesn't feel rewarding to kill or win a game on with a 32 player mob moving in a circle all game.
i play this game for a while now, but i just dicoverd that verdun heights has a giant artillery gun you can use on the top of the mountain. the animations are georgous.. how its loaded...how the soldier is firing and covering his ears!
Half the maps suck ass on Conquest, the only ones that play well are infantry focused ones, otherwise all the big open maps are best played on Operations, which I think should over take Conquest as the default BF mode, but I digress. Fort Vaux at D tier is wild, it's one of the best maps in the game, BF1's version of Metro/Locker, the only correct answer is S tier lmao.
Most maps in this game are hit or miss to people, so there will never be an objectively correct tier list. Theres some placements I disagree with i.e Soisson and Volga, that’s mostly just personal preference. Great video! (But theres one thing we can all agree on, Galicia is a shit map and easily the worst in the game)
Personally I'd have ranked all solely based on how they play in CQ as that's the main BF experience. The Russian DLC maps are all trash, especially Lupkov with 3 AA guns on one side of the map and none on the other
Personally love amiens, just always seem to have great games on the map and in my experience they are mostly evenly matched. Not a fan of the Russian maps they are just crappy sniper or bomber fests. And good lord that heligoland map should never have seen the light of day.
I think this tierlist would have been much better if you did not just short visit all of them in haste instead of remembering the features and unbalances and issues of these maps like honestly sinai dessert its the worst map of opeartions every sector is unbalanced(like none of the sectors is redeemable) and conquest is a sandbox for sweatlords
I say it’s pretty alright on Conquest, the mountains are full of action and cover is reasonable up until you have to sneak into the points closest to enemy spawn On Operations, well you know what usually happens during Iron Walls so I don’t gotta explain it

my favorite map is galicia, it the best map for pilot😁 because my attack plane can farm a lot there (imagine seeing infantry gathered in the trenches like fish, and you shoot them all)😋
Sorry i cant -A- St. Quentins, Suez, Fao Fortress, Ballroom Blitz, Achi Baba, Amiens and Fort de Vaux All classics of the game and perfect for the Battlefield 1 conquest experience with a little bit of everything, very fun. -B- Sinai Desert, Argonne, Siossons, Zeebrugge, Brusilov Keep, Passchendaele and River Somme. All while still very fun often dont play out the best and sometimes lead to a very unbalanced game. I dont see Brusilov often enough. -C- Monte Grappa, Rupture, Tsaritsyn, Lupkow pass, Heligoland Bright and Cape helles. Super pretty, but a lot just turn into walking simulators or is really easy for one team to dominate. -D- Nivelle Nights, Giants Shadow, Volga river, Galicia While not steaming garbage, these maps are just unexceptional. Not to say the concept isnt very cool but the way they play can be stale. Nivelle Nights is one of the most beautifull maps ever made but it doesnt play different than any other except that its dark. -E- Prise de Tahure, Verdun Hights, Albion and Carporetto, Empires Edge. These just DO NOT play well with conquest imo. Whole portions of the map go empty, inbalanced and just poopoo. I never play these, if they even come up ever. Very pretty tho. ----- Keep in mind this is all relative and every map in this game is a work of art. This is mostly from a conquest perspecive. Also i loved the vid but had to give my take (the right one). Cheers!
I have enjoyed your previous videos but, you are way off on your map ratings. If you have played operations at all lately you can tell by the voting which maps are more popular than others. It may be that your class preference is better for certain maps. I definitely don't recommend new players ( if there still are any) to use this video as a scale of best to worst.
