Roku TV's: How to Use & Connect AirPlay 2 (Built-In Apple AirPlay & Homekit)

I show you how to use the built-in AirPlay (wireless screen mirror for iOS Devices) on a Roku TV 4K (smart TV). Note that this is a built in AirPlay and Roku is rolling this out on some Roku TV models so if you don't see it in the settings (Apple AirPlay and HomeKit) make sure to see if you have the latest system software update and hopefully you have it. If you have this feature you will be able to airplay iOS Devices such as Apple iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches, Macbook, iMac, etc. Hope this helps.

Mine allows me to click the airplay and home kit selection then displays airplay and goes back to the selection I don’t get it sometimes it connects automatically sometimes it doesn’t the wifi is good on both doesn’t make sense

Software is up to date, but Airplay & HomeKit setting is not showing up. Looked up the model number too and I should be able to get AirPlay on my TV. I’m officially stuck and not sure how to continue 😅

This was very helpful. For me, using screen mirroring on my iPhone was the only way to make it work. I'm not sure if the airplay app on Roku TV did much at all. For instance, there was a bar code provided when I set up AirPlay on my Roku TV which was unrecognized and completely useless. Once I used the screen mirroring option on my iPhone, it worked.

I connect to my tv with airplay and it starts but then it goes to airplay again without playing the video

Just stopped working few days ago.. reset everything.. forgot the routers unplug.. reset … hard reset everything..still nothin..guess im done till they fix the glitch… there isnt one thing i havent tried.. literally. I cover my angles haha
