I try this deke just staying still all the time and when I do the rotation my guy rotates his stick but the puck never goes on the stick blade at all. Just sits there every time. Idk what I’m doing wrong

Not wanting to start another debate about this, but I think the in-game move is a pure Michigan, while Svechnikov uses a different technic to lift the puck on the blade (as does Forsberg). In my opinion these are all three variants of a Lacrosse move.
ill nvr pull this off. Ive been playing since NHL 94 and I still struggle with loose puck dekes and toe drags... I practiced in NHL 21 w mario lemuiex for hours days and weeks...nvr even came close

Yeah, it definitely is the hardest deke in nhl history. This is insane. I'm all for trying difficult advanced dekes but this one is just beyond me.

It doesn’t unfortunately.
You can see the x-factor icon light up when it’s active and it doesn’t show anything when Kane hits it.
