I’m all for sports talk. When it becomes lies like the news casting on big networks fans are going to lose respect and interest in your shows. Altuve clearly got hit. He’s one of the most respected players in baseball for his honor and love of the game. He’s been hated and targeted for something he never did. Even the players that were involved ALL said Altuve had nothing to do with the 2017 incident. They don’t tear off his jersey out of respect for his wife, not cheating. The Astros team don’t even have the same people anymore and they still all stand up for Jose. Shaming and slamming Houston seven years later is misplaced. They have gone through more scrunity and been under a microscope and still continue to dominate. Tell the whole story or don’t bother commentating.
I’m a baseball fan. I’m always up to watch any game. If I think about it too hard I can still be disappointed that I’ve had to play softball rather than smack a baseball out of the park. As a kid my fave Saturday show was not cartoons but rather “This Week in Baseball”. I do have an aversion to injustice. In general, when it comes to a person’s excuse that “everyone's is doing it” doesn’t fly with me. Saying others got away with it doesn’t mean it’s right. If you don’t want to be caught then don’t do anything wrong, period. I get joy seeing players love the game. So I’d say I’m a fan of Altuve. There are some on the Astros that can make me cringe at times. That’s because of their character, either on the field or off. I prefer confidence over arrogance. I’d love to be in the stands one day so far it’s watch parties for me.
Because they lied. The ball hit his foot. Terrible commentators except one of the guys that said Altuve got hit. The video is on RUclips for all to see.

Agreed. This was very dumb of them.
For context, are you an Astros fan? Or just speaking up on his behalf? Simply curious. Cheers 🤙

What an insane way to talk about umps getting a call wrong.
These are the guys that NBC allows to talk about sports for them
Altuve is a "known cheater?" Really?
Why didn't ya'll play the replay?

Does anybody have any substantial evidence that he had technology inside his uniform??? F outta here with that nonsense!!!!!
They did show the video on the actual show. But I'm sure they couldn't on NBC because they don't have a contract with MLB...
@@blkbelt42 That makes sense but they still hate the guy and they did not tell the truth when he got it.
Thats disgusting
