Jeanie and I are the same on the death topic. Death is a natural part of life, it happens to us all, so I think as a society we need to loosen up, stop distancing ourselves from death so much, and stop being so afraid. You never know when it’s your time to go, so to be afraid just has you walking on eggshells. I think it’s fine to say you want something when someone goes, my family constantly makes joke about what they want when someone dies and what we want to happen to our bodies when we die.

Great thoughts however reality is teenagers can't predict situations they may encounter and need parents guidance and help to deal with situations that may occur. I totally agree with Jeanine and the ladies who promote open conversation.
After talking openly with my teenagers, I placed condoms at home in easy access for my teens so if they decide the need exist it would be available for their safety, because no matter how open you are often they keep secrets. My children now are all adults. None were promiscuous. One has no kids, the others were well over mid twenties before having children.
Kids are gonna do what they wanna do. Rather get ahead and involved than sit with a teenage pregnancy. Adults need to be honest with themselves about when kids think about being sexual active. It happens sooner than we'd like to realize.

I bought my son condoms and put them in his dorm room stuff when I sent him off to college. This was obviously after a few years of us discussing sex education, the importance of consent, and our own family values towards pre-marital babies. I'd rather have an awkward moment about the condoms than have him end up with an std or even a child before he's ready. That was almost 4 years ago and he's now a happily married man. No regrets

IMO don't buy condoms. Share with son their family values and to wait until he is 18 to have sex. At that time you can discuss condoms. Tamera is 100% correct.
Offended
Absolutely it is a person choice! Too many people online (social media) are triggered by what is said. I say allow people their opinions, even if you don't agree with what is said.
When I have those rare moments when I allow someone to offend me, I have an immediate reaction of "why am I allowing this stranger to affect my energy?"
Deceased possessions
That is super tacky and inappropriate. It should only be discussed or offered by the person that will be deceased.
Say you don’t buy them but your young adult chooses to have sex . What’s the harm in telling them what you think they should do but telling them about precautions as well .

School has nothing to do with a personal and sexual conversation that parents should have with Their Kids.
I know there are teachers out there but their are some things parents can teach their kids. Sex is one of them.

I would never buy my son condoms ever!! I will tell him its important to wait till marriage BUT if the time ever comes that he gives in to be safe!
So what are you gonna do when you find out your son has a baby coming? It'll be too late. Kids are gonna do what they want whenever you like the truth or not. So better to be safe than sorry.

What if it's ur husband that keeps offending u f u walk away it will make them go psycho on u and threaten to beat u up? And u have kids and can't get a divorce for some reason so how can u handle that?? Make him work and ever week or 2 weeks he gets paid deduct the cost for condoms and any possible test med he may need. Once they start seeing the cost hopefully he can put into perspective that its all fun and games until...
