i traded a friend my knob for this one on my 2011 wrx, i liked it but once i installed my short throw i began to hate it, it is definitely designed for side shifting which became uncomfortable with a low shifter position, i got the grimmspeed shift knob instead.. and i was stuck with this one because my friend sold his car with my shift knob in it lmaooo

I'm looking at this for my GT86. wondering if it ends up wiggling after extended use. also how is the reverse lock out with it?

It is a longer grasp to throw it in reverse due to the shift knob being so long. I like the knob it is taller and heavier which gives for a more smooth shift due to having more leverage. Would recommend over the Cobb. Cobb knob was too light for my liking.

Tbh it’s not bad I think it feels nicer even with the reverse, you just have to grip it differently
The weight will do the rest

Why do you have it so high? I was looking at this and was wondering why it’s not screwed all the way down the stock screw after you put on the new one. Thanks.

This one sat high for some reason, maybe the newer ones are not like that.
