Very interesting and informative vlog. The ingenuity and skills shown by the designers/engineers etc. from back in the day are incredible. Thanks for taking us along on the tour.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it Mary Jane, there were so many wonderful feats of engineering in the 18th and 19th centuries. Best wishes Alan

Hi Alan, just catching up with this. It never ceases to amaze me how our forebears succeeded in undertaking these huge engineering projects, with none of the technology we have today. Fascinating to watch and hugely interesting to listen to your commentary. Thank you for sharing....🍷🍷

Thanks Alan for this very interesting visit to the Brunel Museum, I'd heard of the Thames Tunnel but didn't know anything about it. Take care and all the best. Stevie

Much enjoyed Alan... It is a rather ignored feat of engineering that we just rather take for granted. We must visit ourselves ... Bob and Helen.

I’m so glad you both enjoyed watching, this did appear on My Narrowboat Venture three years ago. I’m publishing some previous heritage vlogs whilst trying to get the channel going. All the best.

Thank you Gary, there were a number of great engineers at this time and earlier, especially when thinking of canals.

Thank you Alan for another informative and interesting video. It is good to highlight the achievements of the past, hopefully, we have the museums around for a long time into the future. Well done.
