I was born in 1957 & remember this terrible tragedy. Came home from school & saw it on the tv news & it was horrendous. Visited the cemetery this year while on holiday in Wales & it made me cry to see all these poor little children buried many of who would now be my age. I will never forget the sadness I felt in this cemetery. God bless them all and their heartbroken families x
Its only been hours since I learned of Aberfan prior never knew of the tragedy. It breaks my heart and am sickened by the aftermath that would come. Hearing the lady say the words of a miner "That was my child" broke me and tears just flowed. Being American I was a year old when this happened. 54 years later it still touches many around the world. RIP dear angels your never forgotten.
I am an American but very Welsh, this breaks my heart, though it occurred many years ago I am sick with grief, sick. I feel that Wales is my true home . To all who suffered this horrible event and loss, I share your pain. 💔😢🙏
I had heard my dad talk about this but until I saw the crown I didn’t realise how horrifically and sad this accident was I was in tears so tragically sad
I know hindsight it's a great thing... but to carry on piling coal waste ever higher above a village... what were they thinking? RIP all those lost ones.

Lesson : Common people and netizens suffer always be it war or human caused tragedies. Elite and rich people always get away. 🙏
