The fact that you cannot pronounce many of the names of the places (even 'Major', ffs!) coupled with the fact that some of the photographs used aren't even of the towns highighted makes this laughable. This is truly amateur!
I doubt the creator of this video has ever visited the towns in the Iist, in fact I doubt he's ever been to WaIes. WaIes is a Iovey pIace for anyone that cares to visit or Iives there.
This video is packed with misinformation. The 'Newport' segment shows a few photos of Newport Pembrokeshire instead of Newport Gwent. Basic research would've helped. Also, Newport Gwent isn't a town. I must visit Llantwit Mayor someday
You are right with the misinformation. Llantwit Major is near'ish to me. I was a bit surprised by the claim it has a high crime rate, which I don't remember hearing. I just checked and its 56% lower than the the average in the Vale of Glamorgan and also 56% lower than the national UK average.
This entire video is basically generated by an algorithm. Even the English barely makes sense. The narrator's just some guy who gets sent things to read out.
Hey Oaf! did you miss out on Geography or what? Your research is as inaccurate as your diction the Neath hotel you emblazoned all over the screen is in Neath New South Wales, ok Dickhead. I'll provide more wiser than Solomon Critiques in retort to the next Imbecilic inanity you spew onto YT
I live in Pontypridd and the scenery is good in glyncoch mountain and ponty is not as bad as the media says and our history of the bridge is good and that's what makes this town famous
Spent nearly five years living in Llantwit Major and never had any crime-related problems. Saw nothing but some pot-smoking teens at the station. Would happily live there again if I could.
I'm Welsh and this video is bollocks. Ebbw Vale, Llantwit Major and Rhyl are generally quiet middles class areas. Pontypridd is not nearly as bad as many other areas in the Valleys. There is no mention of the certain parts of Cardiff, Swansea, Rhondda Valley, Rhymney Valleys that are appalling to live in. Only part of Merthyr Tydfil that is bad is Gurnos, the rest is pretty much the same as else where. You needed to do your research before posting.
When researching your videos do pay attention to the images of the places that you use. In 'Newport' you featured 2 pictures from Newport Pembrokshire which is so far removed from Newport Gwent its amazing to see you made this error....
Port Talbot is actually a really nice place to live. A beautiful beach to the South , a beautiful country park to the East and a beautiful national forest park to the North, these never seem to get mentioned. I love living here.
Not to mention the kindest, most caring community I’ve ever had the pleasure of living in, let alone being born into. Port Talbot produces great artistic talent and the best steel in the world. We’re doing something right!
I'm surprised Bridgend isn't on this list considering some of the places on here I'd see as being nicer. Also if you're going to do a list at least check how to pronounce the names correctly- not being funny but where did you get the idea that major is said mayorrr? 😅
I lived in Pontypridd as a foreign student at the USW and I loved it!! The cute history museum, the market with amazing welsh cakes and other foods and over the bridge is a beautiful big park, as well as the commemorative statues within. For me it was a charming experience and I lived there for 2 years. Cheers from Croatia 🇭🇷
I once hitchhiked through Merthyr Tydfill. The guy driving the truck was hilarious. As we approached, he warned me that there had been a zombie apocalypse there, and the only people on the street would be shuffling around like the undead. He was not wrong. I have never seen a place so full of people smashed out of their minds, shuffling around, high off their boxes. And this was at midday.
We get it. You don't like poor people or old people. You want everything new and shiny and exciting. This video is nothing but click bait (and I hate that I'm leaving a comment for the algorithm). This video adds nothing of value. It just puts people down. I guess this makes this youtuber feel better about himself. Some people are like that.
How could you put ebbwvale in this 😡 I've never lived there but would like to I have friends there's and loads to do and lovely people in comparison of the shit hole abertillery
Ponty - at one time the longest single span arch bridge in the world. Brown lennox? also at one time the worlds longest station platform. Our national anthem (probably the greatest in the world) was composed here. Tom jones home town. Dr Willliam Price originally from here etc. etc. there's so much more - ynysyngharad park, the lido (which you don't know about).
Talk about didn't do your research - to claim that Pontypridd 'has no history' proves you didn't bother finding out anything (more 'history' than you can shake a stick at) - If this is an AI voice lose it - it can't pronounce Welsh. If it isn't then all is lost!
I live in Pontypool .there ARE places to eat..and it’s close to Newport and Cardiff for good nightlife..it’s beautiful area and much nicer than Cwmbran down the road..unless you want shops ..
Rhyl must qualify as the worst place in North Wales wipe you feet on the way out An absolute dump, full of council have let this happen, ought to be ashamed of itself
Rhyl number one on this list had The Bistro. I've never lived in Rhyl but for 6 or 7 years used to go there for the Bistro every weekend. Best alternative / indie place outside the cities. Met many lifelong friends there.
Pontypool AKA Pikeypool has so much. So many beautiful places within 20 mins walk. The park is wonderful, nowhere in England or Wales is such a grand public town park with such variety, the park alone has the River, Woods, Hills, american and italian gardens, more woods, a stone circle! , leisure centre, a museum in the grand old manor house, a full size rugby ground, bandstand on a mound, a grotto made of seashells on top of the hill with views across Monmouthshire, the park has a fcuking ski slope hidden in the wooded hillside, ...... other side of the Valley (wainfelin woods) has the most dangerous bike track in Wales where the kid who made the track with his own hands over 2 years died riding it, they found him impaled on a tree! Pontypool is fcuking magical
You missed Risca, the royston vasey of wales, with kamikaze crackheads (crackheads that run across the main road oblivious to traffic), and accents so thick you could get lost in them.
Completely disagree with your option of Port Talbot, its a brilliant place. The fact that about 40% of the population of the town is from the English Midlands, and most of them love it
Merthyr Tydfil was actually named after St Tydfil who became a martyr, martyr meaning slain, after she was killed by either welsh or Anglo-Saxon pagans.
This nonsense was worth watching simply to hear the awful mispronunciation of place names. I agree that Llantwit Major is a dump, however Llanitud Fawr is a very nice place indeed.
