It worked I realized it was on the switch that you use for usb plugs into laptops. It wasn’t actually on Bluetooth. Your simple reminder in the beginning fixed it all.

you were so helpfull. i watched a lot of tutorials trying to make my bluetooth mouse work with my ipad air, i could pair it easily, but didn't work no matter what... you are the only one that said that the software has to be ipados 13.4 or more. at least, i quit trying.... thanx

The only thing that I found with wireless mouse on my iPad 2 air is that on EXCEL, when using the right click to add a cell, it won’t let me do it. It only pops up the mouse menu.

If it doesn’t work go on accessibility press touch assistive touch turn it on then go to devoces then press Bluetooth then make sure ur mouse is paired then when ur mouse name pops up click it then there you go!

If you’re Bluetooth doesn’t work, look for a “usb camera adapter” but look for 2 USB ports if u want keyboard AND mouse (If you use wireless gaming keyboard and mouse)

Make sure you have 13.4, if that doesn’t work it might just be the ipad.
