  • DIY LED Lights On Living Room Built-Ins
This is a tutorial on how we installed Govee LED's we purchased from Amazon. We installed them on the built-ins I built in our living room. This was part of the living room remodel we did.

I need to see more details on how you connected all the wires to the power supply. If I was doing 5 shelves, each 2 feet, would I really need to do the parallel wiring? Also, I have 2 of these 5 shelf units, but they are separated by 15 feet. Can I get them to be 'seen' as one by the wi-fi system so I don't have to adjust them separately?

I have the same concern. Can you show how you connected everything and how you split the strip lights from the transformer to the separate shelves? Thanks in advance!

Came out great.👍 I would have liked to have seen more detail on how and where you ran the wiring. You went from wires hanging off the right, to how to hook wires in the box, to finished job. 🥰

Great setup, how do you get power to the CAT 6 cables?

Great looking install. I'm a bit of an LED nut myself, and this looks great.

How did you put the diffuser clips in? Screws or double sided tape?

    Hello, really great video!!
I'm doing something similar but have my concerns...
I also bought a led kit from Goove
12v 5-meter and my idea was to cut it into 10 smaller strips and run it in parallel too.
But will it have enough power to power up all 10 strips?

Andy, where are you in Kentucky? I'm in Cincinnati. I've been wanting to buy a CNC machine and do stereo speaker cabinets. I need help with the LED's I'm trying to put in my basement I'm almost done finishing. How can we connect?

@@AndyBirdBuilds Nice. Thanks. RUclips automatically hides the description so I guess I didnt see it at first glance. The soldering iron kit link is dead btw.
