Corpus are money hungry prick's, but after Parvos took over, the extent of their greed has changed. Besides that, I believe she was the same woman who wanted to avenge her crew in the mission with the ghost ship, so she has some sense of responsibility and honor that she upholds. Of course, it doesn't make what they do for a living any better, but this goes to show that in the end they are still people.
