Becareful with eating too many of these in a week. They will spike your blood sugar and stall your weight loss. It happened to me.
Avoid mission tortillas at all cost. They use bleached flour. Aluminum is used in bleaching process. Not good on your brain
Weight loss is about calories if you over eat you will not lose weight. Even on keto if you eat too much fat you will stall your weight loss. Just make sure to track everything you eat
@William Mclean I use carb manager app myself. I have lost 50 lbs. so far. You have to eat fat on this plan to lose the weight. Don’t get me wrong 10 years ago I lost over 80 lbs just watching calories and working out. Keto is a different plan.
@@williammclean6594 They have 1.5 g of fat. And weight loss is not about calories.
Im trying to lower my blood sugar desperatly. Been on strict no to almost no carbs for 2 weeks. Went from 325 to 150 glucose in 2 weeks. Need low sugar to heal a major wound. If these are net carbs of 0 how will it spike my blood sugar?
I have lost 40 lbs. since I filmed this. I eat them 1-2 times per week. I use these for pizza crust. I also make chips out of them. 4/4/23
I smudge good quality butter on the "Zero" brand white tortilla then sprinkle with Bocha Sweet/allspice mix, cut into wedges. Good either cold or frying pan toasted. Cinnamon would sub great for the allspice and any no-carb sweetener (like Swerve) could sub for the expensive Bocha Sweet. Pre-made Keto snacks are ridiculously expensive so overall my "Zero" tortilla snack is a bargain. By the way, Bocha Sweet, made from the Kabocha pumpkin, is hands-down the best low carb/non-calorie sweetener I've tried.
I suspect that the small portion size on the "Zero" brand qualifies Mission to claim "zero net carbs" due to rounding allowed on labels. I wonder if 3 or 4 of those would amount to a carb or two.
buy pork rinds, pizza crust 0 carb crust.. 80g cheese, 80g ground pork rinds, 2 eggs, love me some pizza
@@ketolifestyle68 Great idea. I will have to try that. We enjoy a chicken crust as well. Thanks for the comment.
Congrats on the weight loss.
i been using them i make chips out if them and use them for pizza as well
Yeah, these tortillas are awesome. The quesadillas, tacos and pizzas are really good. But the best thing is frying them up as tortilla chips.
My daughter fell in love with street tacos, and we have them about once a week. I was very happy when I found these tortillas. I now always have some in the cupboard. BTW, good luck with the keto diet. I lost 60 lbs..
Thank you very much. That is awesome. Congratulations to you.
I'm going to try these! Thank you for the review!
They are great. The Carb Balance shell is great too.
oooh I bet these would be great toasted up. looking forward to trying them. thanks for sharing!
Yep. They make good tortilla chips too.
I justed tested these tortillas. They will make you gain weight. I've been on the carnivore diet for 3 months. I weigh myself after work everyday. I lose 1 pound a day. I started gaining weight when I started using these.
You can if you eat too many. I use these once a week if I am lucky. I prefer EggLife.
Still lost for me!
*Thank you for this review* 😊
You’re Welcome. Thank you.
I just found them and have been eating them all week. Delicious and easy to fill and enjoy ❤
I'm late to the party with these. I had tried the carb balance before but I just picked up the zero net carbs tortillas today for the first time. Looking forward to trying them! Love the ideas you have for using them.
Love those. Especially on Sunday morning for a sausage egg and cheese
My husband and I are absolutely in love with these, we just found them a couple of weeks ago and started watching Bobby Parrish . We love to make small pizzas out of them, and tacos, these are a game changer and a life saver.
They serve a purpose for sure.
I'm eating one right now I love them!
The sundrid tomato basil tortillas are really good!
Thanks. I’m getting them!!
Enjoy. We have been making them into chips. They work great for pizza crust too.
I saw you in your recent vids! Good job! Lookin good! 🤯
Thank you! I appreciate you.
I rate them a 10❣️. I use my dash griddle for the egg! So quick and easy. I heat the tortillas on it too.👍👍
I love these I’ve lost 105 in 3 years. I put pb2 on them and sf jelly. They are so soft and fresh.
How many do you eat in a week? I just discovered these and have had at least 3 this week.
@@Rolzroyse if I have them for lunch I eat 2 as my meal.
@@jaynpenny so how many times a week do you eat them as a meal. Thanks for responding.
I love them!!!
You have made my day! Try fasting 16 hours and eating in a 8 hour window! I do 20/4 unless I am traveling! I lost 15 lbs and with hardly any effort and did not exercise that much! Looking for a 0 carb tortilla! Thanks! New sub here!
My wife had a ton of success fasting. It works. There are a couple of other brands too. Good luck. 👍🏻
These look pretty tasty!
These are good! I've made little taquitos with them - warm tortillas in the microwave for about 15-30 seconds. Put a mix of seasoned browned ground chicken, shredded cheese and hot sauce in the middle of the tortilla. Roll and put in a baking pan (seam side down to prevent from opening). Bake at 350 for 7 minutes. They are small so they keep portions low calorie and they really satisfy my cravings for Mexican food. I think you could serve these to people not on Keto and they would never know that they are low carb.
Awesome ideas.
Oh my God what a wonderful idea!!
We love the sun-dried tomato and basil ones.
I actually buy these for my 6 year old son. He's not a fat kid. He's not technically keto or anything but since they have this as an option I can't justify giving him "real" ones knowing how toxic they are to our bodies. He's a healthy kid and I'd like to keep it that way. I use the egg wraps.
Edited to add: All the adults in my family are now keto. Both of my elderly parents have been taken off their medications for various things. It's not just weight loss. It'll get you as healthy as you can be if you stick with it.
I agree. I have felt amazing since changing to this lifestyle. I like the egg wraps too. Thanks for the comment.
I use these for my hamburger buns. I love them! They are so good! Also I like to make pizza with them.
Fry them in some healthy avacado oil, sooo good with a crispy fried egg and hot sauce :)
Great idea. I love hot sauce on my eggs.
Love making chips with them as well. Congrats on the weight loss.
Thank you.
They are small but i love them
For the sun dried tomato wrap does yours have green specks on them from the basil ? Mine has them
I think so.
I know the carb Balance Mission tortillas are good. Didn't know they were doing a zero net carb one.
Thanks for the info. The Carb Balance ones do work great for pizzas, burritos and other things. Zero carbs would certainly be better though if the flavor is workable. I can't tell a difference in flavor for the Carb Balance ones. Curious about these. :)
They taste the same as the carb balance one. We make mini pizzas with the zero carb ones. Bacon cheeseburger is our favorite pizza to make. These make great tortilla chips too.
I've been wondering about those. I went ketovore 5 months ago and lost 48 pounds so far. I've been using the Dash mini waffles as "bread". I just saw Dash makes a 4 mini waffle waffle maker- that's on payday, I am so excited! The one mini waffle maker was about $12 and the 4 m.w. maker is about $40....🙂
Great job. I love my Dash Hardboiled egg maker.
I just got my new Dash 4 mini waffle maker!!
Breaking it in today!! 😊
Keep going man, I lost 80 lbs on a low carb diet.
I use them but always lightly toast and use spray butter.
My wife does that and adds Stevia and cinnamon to make it a sweet treat.
I love them , but must toast mine in a dry pan for a little crunch . And I add one small turkey sausage patty like Jimmie Deens.
Sounds delicious.
im gonna try these the fiber count covers the carb count, like the aldi keto bread
La banderita brand low carb tortillas have cleaner ingredients, and come in a street taco size 😍. Not a fan of Mission low carb due to their inflammatory ingredients (soybean oil being the main one). Not good for arthritis. The Mission carb balance also contain sucralose, which is bad for a healthy gut biome. The zero carb don't have the sucralose but still have the soybean oil.
Thank you I was wondering which would be better. I haven’t try the misson brand I have tried the bigger carb counter ones and enjoy their flavor. What are your thoughts on the Aldi ones?
ive bought these fit right into low carb diet.
Hi 👋 I started keto a week ago.. no idea what I’m doing, but I’ll keep at it and see what happens..
I would use an app for your phone. I use carb manager. It really helps. Research it too. I eat 1300-1400 calories per day and average around 14 net carbs per day. Plan your meals for the week. That really helps. I’ve lost 50lbs. In the last 14 weeks. Good luck. I plan on doing some more videos telling people what has worked for me. Good luck. 👍🏻. Make sure you check with your Dr. Too. They are a good resource.
@@Myweightlosslife that’s awesome 👏 so happy I found you today! Is your carb manager free? I’m binging your videos 😊
@@libSta_OBX it’s is. The free version works fine. I ended up getting the paid version after 1 week. It unlocks 1,000’s of recipes. Thank you.
You should do product reviews more often 😀
They are fun to do.
I like the plain ones. I put them in the microwave for about 20 sec. to warm them up first.
That works great too. Thanks for watching.
Use a pan to to warm them.
I toast mine for crunch!
Has anyone tested their glucose after eating 1 or 2? What kind of spike? thx
Thats what im interested in too. Their ingredients aren’t super clean for keto.
I tested using 2 tortillas and had a 35 point spike, I checked at 30, 60 and 90 minutes, at 60 minutes I spiked 35 points, at 30 minutes I was up 10 points, and at 90 minutes spike dropped off 7 points from peak.
@@Burgie_productions Thank you!!
You need to first heat your tortillas up in butter in thr pan before you cook the egg. That makes these taste so much better..
Eat them how you like them.
I would say the best thing to do is to not eat any food that has an ingredient list no sugar no processed foods. The plastic you were eating was not cheese and it’s not about your size you’re handsome you look fabulous it’s about how you feel and how long you will live so eat for health and find hobbies for fun getting the two mixed up is lethal❤
Thank you. I have lost almost 60 lbs. since I made that video. I don't eat that type of cheese any longer and I really don't eat tortillas very often. I eat EggLife Wraps. At the time the tortillas served a purpose for me and they do serve a purpose for others. It still better then eating a normal tortilla. They no longer serve a purpose for me however. Thanks for the comment.
@@Myweightlosslife
Good for you!
I bought the original. These work well for low carb folks. Make bean and cheese taquitoes.
I would skip the beans if you are on a low carb diet.
LaBandera makes one that is yummy also. So I saw a video of a version of a pizza using julienned tortillas. And was wondering if anyone has tried making spaghetti this way?
Yes. I do it with EggLife wraps all the time. Cut them into fettuccine shape. There is No reason you can’t cut them into spaghetti noodles.
I never saw you before. Thought I would remind you to look at ingredients. Sadly these have hydrogenated oil. If you don’t eat hydrogenated oils I guess it wouldn’t hurt once in a while. I Just subscribed to your channel.
It is a great idea to read the ingredients. I eat these only every once in awhile. Thank you for watching and subscribing.
Brown these on your gas burner stove
Warm ur tortilla on a dry pan, just leav for about 8 seconds on both sides.
I broiled them and used them as hamburger buns. Not bad.
Update.
Now I freeze my regular white hamburger buns then toast them. This cuts the insulin spike 30-40%.
Still use the net zero tortillas but only as tortillas now. Love em.
The only way to proof these tortillas are good for you is to measure you glucose before you eat them and after one and two hours of being consumed. If you notice a significant spike. They are not good. Too many hidden ingredients so you need to be sure.
People eat them for different reasons. You do what works for you.
I like to heat the tortillas in a frying pan.
Cook the tortilla. You'lllove it.
Are these good for Diabetics?
I can’t answer that, but they tend to spike blood sugar from what I have heard.
You didn't grill/warm your tortillas?
I eat them either way. Been doing that for years.
Sounds almost like you can eat these just in moderation. Theyre great on burgers lol
Honestly, I don’t eat these anymore. I like egg life wraps instead.
Are these tortillas gluten free?
Great question. Unfortunately no.
Call me old fashion but when the label says 7 grams of carbs , to me that's not zero but seven no matter how you count it. I count it as 7 grams since I'm a type 2 diabetic and take insulin.
You do what works for you. I believe these have to be eaten in moderation. They do spike blood sugar.
Have you tried the Egglife wraps? Might be healthier than these.
Interesting that you asked me that. I just had one for the first time this morning. I will be putting a review out for that next week. I would say those are much healthier. Thanks for the comment.
@@Myweightlosslife awesome! Yes I thought I would like the mission wrap but unfortunately those extra ingredients are a no for me. With the Egglife wraps, I’ve made fettuccine noodles, lasagna noodles, and fajitas thus far.
@@Uniquaization I am excited about trying some different things with these. Might even try it as a pizza crust.
Can’t wait for your egg life review! We do IF and low carb for my husband’s diabetes. We find that the bgl doesn’t care about fiber reduced from carbs!
@@LadySevalle ruclips.net/video/NJ6RLW3C0sg/видео.html
They are keto buns at Walmart now and hot dog buns
Yes. They have them. I don’t eat them anymore.
Did you try to measure the effect of these so called Zero carb tortilla on blood sugar level? I don't think it is real 0-carb. It gives spike in blood sugar level and that indicates that it is not real 0-carb.
Did you read any of my updates in the comments? Let alone it’s Zero Net Carbs. Not regular carbs.
I only eat 2 max a day and twice or three times a week never checked my blood so don't know if they knock me off ketosis
I would think you would be ok. Each one has 7g of carbs. Even if you don’t subtract the fiber. Moderation is the key. 👍🏻
@The Review Guy absolutely 💯
If there wasn’t any gluten in them they would be great but a lot of people who went keto did so because of gluten issues.
They're a little different but believe me i'm not gonna make tortilla out of lentils.
Too expensive and they are so easy and quick to make using almond flour.
I took a look at those Mission zero carb, and the ingredients are awful. I get the Ole brand, they have 4 net carbs and better ingredients, they don`t spike my blood sugar.
...you know you are supposed to cook or heat up the tortilla, right?...
I eat them either way. Been doing that for 50 years.
😂”Shells?” Try putting a bit of avocado mayonnaise on your tortilla with some cholula hot sauce .
We have always called them hard shell or soft shell tacos when ordering at a restaurant. I’m not a big fan of Cholula hot sauce myself.
The Gurerros are much better.
I didn’t notice much difference.
This is not actual food, reading the ingredient list will tell you that.
I don’t disagree with you, but I did lose a lot of weight eating them.
They have vegetable oil in them 😢
Yes. They are not for everyone. I still lost 70lbs eating them on occasion.
just another flour carb lie from mission.tell us how flour is fiber.
Ingredients in these not good
That they aren’t!
Did you measure your blood sugar rise? Did it spike? You need to measure your response. Just tasting good is not @ review. We need to know everything!
Did you read the pinned post?
Congratulations if they work for you, they do not work for me.
Too much playing around with the macros and lying.
I have went away from using these for the most part. I will use them as a pizza crust once in awhile. I use chicken for the crust now. I think these are good for people who can’t get by without some kind of bread. They are not for everyone.
La banderita zero carbs are better
I will have to give those a try.
Look at the ingredient list. Holy $hit!! No, thank you. Tortillas have 3 ingredients. Just because it says keto doesn't make it good for us.
Yep. They are not for everyone.
Nope they have 7 carbs per each one !
Clearly you didn’t watch the video. 7g of carbs minus 7g of Fiber gives you 0 Net carbs.
Believe it if you’re that desperate.
@cybersal7 now that I'm on maintenance I've learned that while some people can do the wraps, I'm not one of those people. I like lettuce wraps these days.
@@eringilmer3268 awesome. Those are good too. Everyone is different. I don’t use these tortillas very often. That’s for sure.
@The Review Guy it's all about what works for each person and I respect that about the health journey.
