By the way such a concept had been done already. Back in the early Seventies I have seen a dubbed American TV series about a revived Old West prospector who had been caught in an avalange and his reaction to the Modern USA in the late Sixties and early Seventies.

I’ve actually played Sleepy Hollow as a theater once! Me and my group played our own version of the story! And I was playing Ichabod Crane!

This was the best part of the show! I had to stop watching season 2 because it was so bad
Me too. It was clear that the showrunners decided to push Katrina forward and put Abbie in the background. It went downhill from there. They didn't seem to realize that the magic was the chemistry between Abbie and Ichabod. No one much cared about Katrina.

The two main characters were wonderful--great on-screen chemistry. Storylines were hilarious one moment, spooky the next. Gee. Hate it when producers get it all wrong!😢

I remember I watched the first season of this show, and I really enjoyed it. But, due to circumstances outside of my control, I never kept up with it.
By the time I remembered the show, I heard that they killed Abby off, so I decided against watching it again.

Some Hard Core fans are right. It was a shame to kick Nicole Beharie over board. At least the studio could had given her an out-time for a certain amount of episodes to cure out her health problems. For the show the actress had been an integrated part of SLEEPY HOLLOW and as an actess and a reaccuring part of this Monster-hunting team she was as important as Diana Rigg for the British AVENGERS ( German: Mit Schirm, Scharm und Melone ) show in the late Sixtees, also on RUclips.
