Mary was quite the obsessed woman over Ichabod Crane. But I am impressed with how honest Ichabod was to Mary about his feelings for her. Ichabod is a Needle in a haystack, a rare man that any woman would want in their life. And yes, Katrina should have told Ichabod want happened to Mary from the start. However she was not wrong that Ichabod would have went back to England for Mary’s funeral and away from the war in the possible chance he would never have come back to fight the war. Ichabod doged a big bullet by not marrying Mary. Mary was an obsessive, jealous, controlling & slightly manipulative woman. Even has a ghost she tried to manipulate the truth by blaming Katrina for her own death. Granted Katrina should've told Ichabod what happened. He wouldn't have blamed considering he knew how crazed Mary was
Mary was right tho. Katrina had darkness to abraham to be the horseman of death, cover up Mary's death. Jeremy/Henry became one side of the same coin, he wants to punish his father. And show her true colours and Katrina

I like that Ichabod is dressed like how he looks in the Disney cartoon and book. I’m annoyed that in every adaptation Ichabod is handsome yet in the book and Disney cartoon he’s weird looking but entertaining which is accurate. Just my opinion.
