Our 2024 Chicks Fledge - Somerset Barn Owl Live

Our 2024 Barn Owl chicks fledge the nest.
They're overcome some devastating setbacks when their mother was lost a few weeks previously leading to us loosing the youngest two chicks. The father has been a super star and kept up with prey deliveries giving the remaining three a real fighting chance.
Sadly a week or so later, we lost a third chick that fell from the box whilst exploring.
Our two remaining chicks are thriving however and on the 7th July they tested their flight feathers and fledged the nest successfully.
Like most teenagers.. they did return later when they got hungry.
