Just picked mine up and was wondering if yours rattled when shook. I have reached out to several people on here and had mixed things come back, in short if you shake it with or without battery, any setting the top of the drill near the back there's quite a loud rattle?
Are you running into any issues with the chuck overdriving even on low settings? I’ve seen a few videos now that a lot of dewalt’s latest hammer drills have basically no control and just keep driving no matter the chuck setting. I would want just one drill that does it all but if it has no finesse with finer work then I may have to hang onto my cheap Dewalt brushed model that has a working manual chuck.
DCD999 chuck clutch was very heavy duty, it kept driving screws to a black hole. This one, though more power, is nice. But it will need some getting used to for tiny screws though.
I'm sure it will do alright but I won't expect any bangs and whistles, like any others. Rotary always gives me bangs and whistles. But I'll do a video on this topic, with what I've got.
They are both excellent tools, cant go wrong with either platform. Dewalt DCD1007 performs effortlessly with all the batteries I had in my arsenal, and that was satisfyingly surprising for me.

Балавство серьёзным аппаратом, не в те руки машина попала. Не стреляй из пушки по комарам!
I live dangerously like fast and furious!
Do you have anyone to test on concrete?

excelente, donde se consigue?
It just came to the Australian stores, but it's been out in Europe for a few months. Check your local stores.
What are your thoughts on the DeWalt vs the XGT?

@AUSIEREPAIRMAN that's fair. So many good options today. The dewalt seems surprisingly smooth and refined for how much of a chunker it is
