I struggle against 1 hard AI. Wait, no I lose against hard. Unless I do a protoss void ray cheese. I think I can do normal AI though. One of them. Two would destroy me.

@@forevergogo I did 1x3 Elite Ai and I'm 80 APM low diamond only. Ai is rather stupid and easy to abuse with air units and chesses.
seeing uThermal struggle in this challenge makes me appreciate/understand how crazy skilled he is, more than when he's beating grandmasters with a hand tied behind his back

Insane display of multitasking and APM, I could barely even follow what was going on most of the time. These challenges are so fun!
The crazy thing is doing all this *while* performing commentary for himself. Just mental.
When I'd fight against multiple insane AI's I found a cheese that totally destroys them; you build flying units and park one behind each base. When their combined armies turn up to attack you then you send in your flying unit to attack the back of their base. Their army will turn around and walk all the way back across the map to defend, you don't even need to wall off. When their army gets back to their base you pull the flying unit back and they walk back to attack your base. Rinse and repeat growing your army while they trudge back and forth across the map.
I'm not that good so I never tried this against 7 AIs though. I think 3 was about it. (this was also a long time ago so maybe the AI's don't do this any more?)
absolute LEGEND!!! Love these types of challenges! You are not only mechanically skilled(reaper micro etc) you come up with excellent strategy. These are also a welcome change from your normal and excellent 1v1 content challenge content. :) Keep up the great work. New best dutch SC2 content creator? I think so. :D
You may remove "Dutch" And the phrase would still hold true.

I've played probably 1000 games on this map about 10 years ago good memories but depressing atmosphere. It was part of the 4vs4 map pool and I played a lot of those in the ladder.

When you stim your marines, you can recognise immediately which ones are changelings ;) Some pvp challenges(1vx bronze players) would be nice to see again. Or do a co-op with same skill level player vs 6 other random skill players.

EDIT: Just tried making a 7v1 on this map but can only do 6v1
It seems like the deciding factor here was whether or not the AI could could reach armoured Ultralisks before you could get too far ahead... so for the next challenge, what it the roles were reversed? 7 Hard AI, but you have to play Zerg and rush armoured Ultras? I haven't played SC2 in years, and even then I was pretty terrible, so I have no idea if this suggestion is too easy or too hard, but thought I'd throw the idea out there at least.
Honestly you could do endless variations of this challenge with ''x units only''
use MULES to repair the medivacs!

I love to see your incredible multitasking and decisionmaking skills while you complain about being "a bit slow". :D It's not a challenge idea, but more of an interesting experiment; it could be a cool show: take a player who's been playing the game for a while but who isn't great yet. For example, they have been stuck in platinum for over a year, while playing at least twice weekly. Then have them play games on a fresh account where you tell them what to do. (Not coaching; just giving instructions.) Then see how far you can get on the ladder that way. Finally, evaluate if and how the experience has affected their skill in their own games.

@@WHunt-pc4rw I've actually thought about this exact challenge where his girlfriend is the plat player. He has actually said he has watched her play a few games in a context which made me think she's not very good.
@@shufflecat3334Quite a few streamers collaborate with their partners like that, but I do feel it is important that the participant has actively and deliberately chosen to be in that role and is happy to be bossed around by Marc on camera. If his girlfriend felt that way, then it could be fun, but I could imagine someone in her position might not enjoy that. But that's for Marc and the missus to figure out I suppose!

I came up with a cheese, mass scv drop in main base to confused the enemy to give you're ghost enough time to get off multiple nukes

great game. you make it look easy..
it turned out that using Marines & Medivacs only is even easier than just defense. The AIs are pretty dumb in dealing with drop-harrassment.
Just a question, and I'm genuinely not sure 100% about it, but since you're focusing so much on economic damage wouldn't it be best to not accept the A.I's surrender right away? When you do their remaining resources get split among their allies, which then allows them to start upgrades and production they otherwise wouldn't have been able to due to the aforementioned eco damage.
Essentially, if the previous GGs weren't accepted and those A.Is were left to put that money into the inconsequential rebuilding of a few workers or structures, we might not have seen Ultras nearly as early, or nearly as many of them in this game.
I guess I'm just saying those minerals get wasted by an A.I with nothing, instead of giving their money to their allies who have the infrastructure to do something with it. The downside is that GG box has to stay on the screen for a while lol

I thought of a challenge while watching this, not sure how good it is: Mule only, you cannot build SCVs after your initial bunch and can only spam Mules.
It could also be fun to see Zerg vs 7 Terrans

could u 1v5 or 1v4 as zerg. i think zerg would be interesting as u need to take a lot of bases to win as zerg.

Any reason you avoided medivac armor and booster upgrades? I suppose you proved they weren't necessary vs hard ai. still, could have been helpful vs the spores, no? maybe with those and faster economic expansion, an insane challenge is possible...

Sounds super weird.... Buuuut 1 vs 3 Hard AI winning with aggressive structures. No actual units. You can feel free to change up some details but Its the core that counts. You are a legend so I think you can do it.

crazy idea, what if for these challenges he releases 2 videos instead, 1 winning run and 1 losing run, this way we can't tell whether or not he will win beforehand as there is a 50% he will win on the first video that we watch; then he can take down the losing video in 1 week from now; alternatively this could be a patreon exclusive thing he could do, where only patreons get to see the 2nd video where he lost

Now do it again but with "Only Ghosts" XD.
I mean the AI could have 200 ultralisks but as long as you got SCVs repairing and even better you got them in a choke that planetary isn't breaking.
Maybe consider adding "-" between A.I. and Marines Only cause for me it was hard to tell what the video is about without watching it:) cause now it looks like the A.I. is playing with Marines Only:)
