i have had around 14,000 km on it still rides like a dream with a few bits of problems even tho i abuse it so much definatly the best scooter its worth buying you need reliability everyday but you dont need speed everyday
I agree with this video, I bodybuild so the 40kb thing doesn't bother me is all. I am a door to door salesperson and the scooter is solid reliable etc. Exactly what 90 percent of people are looking for. Love it I have 2 in fact.
Picked up one cheap recently,it’s my favourite commuter, city roads are 20-30 max I get 19 out of it even took my girlfriend to work on it great workhorse
The first initial squeeze is the E brakes and when squeeze all the way down is the manual brakes. So if you have regen up high it will help make it so you don't need manual brakes as much. I have my regen on medium because I just slow down before I brake so it will last longer.

I bought one and quickly returned it because I didn’t like the fact that in order to reach the level 3 speed setting it required me to download an app then upload firmware to the scooter. Why can’t Segway make this scooter fully ready to ride out of the box??
I bought the same scooter but can't get a straight answer on the tire pressure. The manual says 32 to 37 psi. On the tire it says 55 psi. I called Segway and they told me 45 to 55. I sent them an email and they said 32 to 37. Who's right?
32-37 is for a more comfortable ride, but you sacrifice acceleration and top speed I inflated my wheels to about 53 and its not as smooth over bumps my battery consumption has gone down as my acceleration has gone up
@@kail4643 It is Rain RESISTANT... LIGHT rain.. But you still risk getting rain in either or both the batttery charger port and/or (more likely) the control panel. I've seen so many video's where those who ride even in LIGHT mist and they opened the control panel on the handles bar area only to discover rust and corrosion forming and suspected that the moisture came thru the push button...
@@sneakypetesproductreviews Absolute PIA. I took mine in to an electric bike dealership who used to sell Segways and he took pity on me. Lol. It was $40 to get it changed but worth my peace of mind.

Well said!

Awesome!
This is the best video ever for g30
You just need to adjust your brake cable. After doing that the braking improves significantly.
interesting will try it!
Just squeeze the spring and tighten. You can use your fingers.

👍🏻
Really enjoying your new channel, Pete! These electric scooters are always fun to ride!
Thanks buddy! They are so much fun
Keep up the review Pete I remember watching your videos when you never wanted to show your face.
Sneaky peter comin through beep beep! this thing looks dope would love to cruise on it
Dude it is soooo much fun to ride! Don’t vape and drive but vape and scoot 😎
The front brake is fairly easy to adjust to get more bite out of it. Takes a little getting use to so exercise caution once you’ve adjusted it.
nice I might have to give that a try!
3 seconds in this video l, im loving it.
Thanks for watching!
I’m waiting for my new G30 max to arrive!Greetings from Romania!🎉
awesome I hope that you love it as much as I do!
30kmh is awesome, here it's locked to 20kmh, which is still okay for the city. But I would love to go a little bit faster.
oh really? wow where is that?
@@sneakypetesproductreviews Germany.. the version is called ninebot max g30d 2
Please review the Max G2 ?
Probably not buying a new one anytime soon, this one is still going strong!
Great vid. One question though. Once you get where you’re going, can you chain it up somehow?
There are definitely locks but it’s not as easy as locking a bike up
Thanks for a lovely video. Can you please suggest something better in same or slightly higher price range
Sorry this is the only scooter I own
For slightly higher price check out Vsett 8! Full suspension, NFC locking, twice as powerful motor etc.
@@parskyyyy nice thanks for the recommendation!

@@parskyyyy wow that is amazing man, thank you for sharing that much appreciated!!
I hate that the fender is so flimsy. I cracked it just by picking up the scooter and carrying it. So I just always keep it open and carry it that way.
👍🏻
Can You lock the Ninebot to a pole or something instead of carrying it into a supermarket etc ?
they make scooter locks but personally I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving it locked up with one...at least in the city we live in haha
i recognize the area your filming at i live near there :D
haha nice, good area to film!

Holding down the button for a few seconds doesn't turn mine off 🙄
Weird 🤔
Does not 1 person ride a scooter in tbe rain or wet climate? I live in seattle and i would like to know how a scooter will handle a rainy climate??
I wouldn’t recommend riding in the rain myself, I don’t think a lot of people film reviews in the rain either haha
I just bought mine and live in Seattle, they are rated for the rain! Always the best time before an M’s game!

@@thecamarogarage damn might need to look into extra water proofing since it rains 9 months out of the year here LOL
I'm sorry you live in Seattle, as bad as Portland but with worse weather.
I hated tire changes. If it had been a two piece tire I would have kept mine. Otherwise a tank of a scooter.
Ahh I’ve never had to change mine, is it a pain to do?
