I have to admit, that while all of them are absolutely fantastic, Kian is the one that I favor. Although in fairness, it's like saying "I favor the blue Ferrari over the Green or Gold. " it's still a Ferrari regardless.
As I've got older (like being in my 30s is old) I love Mark more and more, but always it's still Shane for me. I love his voice as much, if not more than 20 years ago.

@@cyrask Nooooooooo, chest voice is the lower register. That beautiful lower tone that Shane sings with is chest voice. There is nothing low about some of those notes that Mark was hitting. That was either his head voice or falsetto surely.

God, I like these guys so much, they are gorgeous. And the show, their voice and the singing are fantastic. I am elevated by their singing. Their songs are always 100% positive and encouraging. Looking forward to the new album Wild Dreams.
The transition of Shane's voice from high notes to low was impeccable. He can control his voice at no effort..
The thing is with Shane he has euphonious voice in both high notes and low notes and delivers them equaly with perfection. That is what I like about him. As much as he can change his tone to raspy when he choose to.

Yep that's right, I went for Shane's solo concert at Hard Rock Hotel Coliseum (Singapore) in early March 2018, he sang 14 songs and half of them were Westlife classics such as Swear It Again, If I Let You Go, My Love, Uptown Girl, etc. It was full house that Saturday night with over 1000 fans!

Just a reminder Shane doesn't have just smooth tone alone. He changes it to Raspy whenever he chooses or in rock & roll type of songs.

I like Mark on the high notes but I like Shane in the general wholesomeness of the song, middle, mid high and low tones. He has more control on the delivery.

I'm a metalhead and the only non-metal group that I listen to since I was a kid is Westlife.
They are simply the best! More power, lads!

What I love about Westlife is there appears to be no bitchiness or jealousy within the group. It looks like they respect eachother - and admire and value Mark's powerhouse vocal ability. 😍
They have been friends and/or classmates for more than 20 years. I never thought they would reunite in 2018, esp after the years they spent focusing on their solo careers. Nicky said in an interview in late 2012 that the band broke up mainly cos they had been torn apart by concerns about their direction; a wedge had been driven between them by Simon Cowell's record label, Syco; and they were finding separation from their families increasingly unbearable.
