Very nice! I'm going to try the white glue with some PE parts. Looks like it worked well. This is how we further the modeling hobby. The sharing of techniques and ideas. Thank you for the video. Just a great job all the way around.
Great done! And that weathering with airbrush is absolutely ingenious. Perfect done! And one more thing - it is good idea to do less known types of planes/ships/tanks and so on. U-48 is quite known U-Boot, but as "B" variant is very interesting. All the best for You! ;)
Enjoying your videos, I am currently waiting for the photo etch set for this model. When I seen you use that here, I just had to get one. It really does add a lot to the scene. Thanks for posting the videos, and happy model kit building.
Imagine spraying solid layers of primer, clear and flat colors with a single pass, using an airbrush that is FOR that purpose? Resulting in a far smoother and thinner even coat? Mind blowing, I know.
Hey! Amazing work! When I see your fine airbrush works everything looks so easy but every time I try to do this myself I get more and more frustrated. If I dont give enough tinner to the paint it cloaks up on the needle after a few seconds. Lietaraly after a few stroks. On the other hand if I add more tinner to mix spidereffect kicks in. I use an airbrush with 0.2 needle and I play with the pressure and the tinner but no result. I am loosing hope. Anyways, thanks for sharing these videos!
Wundebar!! I just watched the submarine in the waves and it was especially great!!!,, I want to say, all of your diarmas are filled with special and intricate details,, ,, May I make a small suggestion with this one?? I worked in a drydock for some time,,, Could you add some more items?? You did so fine with the submarine hitting the swells, making those wave capes, surely you could make some "sparks",,, so install a few welders,, and some cutters with hoses and lines,, and maybe a crane to bring in some steel parts and a crane to drop in drygoods to the boat,, I do not know is you can find people that small, but it would set off the display to a EXTREME design, and make it more "alive and active",, understand?,,, I think this would be great, and you could show it in another video as an update,, possibly,, otherwise, your work is meticulous, your skill is to the craftsman, and your attention and imagination is astounding,!!!! Guten Tage
Gorgeous! Bravo! The Type VII is iconic craft, I have love since childhood and seeing film Das Boot! (I believe U boat portrayed in film is more common type C?) I myself model, paint, semi scratch build, but mostly Napoleonic, some WWl and steampunk. I struggle to work in 1:72 and prefer 1:32, your small scale work is EXCELLENT! My eyes hurt to think of producing in this scale! I don't see much in 1:700 scale and your work has impressed me. Continue! I enjoy to see some armor in 1:700! You are perhaps Armenian? Turkish? Pardon if I am incorrect. Cheers!
Very nice kit, and very nicely done! Couple of questions, if you please: - For the first weathering layer with white, do you dilute it a lot, or just playing with the airbrush to barely spray any? - What's the logic behind the choice of white glue vs CA glue to apply details on painted parts?
Thank you! If I say "highly diluted" in the video that means only one ore two drop of paint to full paint cup of the airbrush. I use fast type CA because of that I use white glue sometimes when I need time to set the parts to place
Dude, this is amazing. I am completely in awe at how you can make something so small, so detailed.

Oh god, you are awesome. The PE set made a huge difference. Perfect.

You are quite talented. Those PE parts are so small. I appreciate your patience. Great Job !!!
I would have lost my mind working with such tiny parts 🤪 Great job!
Excellent work! and more when that submarine is on a very small scale ..., that little diorama is full of details. I congratulate you!
would be cool to see a model railway at this scale
Amazing built.I love it! Congratulations!
je suis stupéfait !!!! incroyable de réalisme !! magnifique !!
Some things are just needlessly difficult, this is one of them. Good job on the tiny sub.
I think i just got an internal bleeding in my brain from seeing those photo etched parts! Great work!

A very impressive model diorama
Well presented, good close up detail. I have always found Flyhawks 1/700 PE very daunting
Wow.....really a micro work of art......Awesome.

Esta muy bueno tu maqueta !! Desde Argentina Saludos
Beautiful , but i think you can make the walls and the floor green because it s underwater
@troy janise but the drydock is often underwater
Beautiful work
I'd love to have the skill and more importantly, patience to do a project like this
I'd have lost all the PE stuff in the carpet. I already do 1/72 scale with a magnifier, no way I could do that.

Of all the kits you have built. What manufacturer is the most consistent for good fit and detail.
Sweet. Nice work on all that tiny photo etch.
Very good work. Awesome !!!

Great build!! What were you using to apply CA? an old airbrush needle?? And what's your favorite airbrush that you mention @12:34 ?
Thank you! Yes it's an old airbrush needle. My favorite airbrush is GSI Creos 770 0.18mm
Very Nice!
Amazing !
Bonjour jolie maquette vous l'avais acheter sur quel site merci👍👍👍

@@Scaleaton I just wanted to know if you were actually using that diluted white for the weathering layer. You're not mentioning that (around 7:12).
Yes the same. One or two drop of paint to fully thinner filled paint cup
But why didn't you just paint it with lacquer paint and then alternate with acrylic paint??..! 1:39
holy crap...!
Amazing...
