I've always wanted to try an underwater aircraft wreck diorama, and I have some of the components, but I never have time to work on it... I would love to see you try it! The idea is to create something like the Pacific underwater wreck sites. Imagine a miniature airplane model, 1/144th scale or smaller, fully submerged in a very light blue resin, sitting on an ocean floor, partially disintegrated and corroded away, buried into the sediment. This whole diorama could be basically a resin cube, with all sides polished, and since the resin is nice and clear, you can look through it from any angle.
Damn and here i am thinking the same thing with 1/72 scale Tony-1C model. Sadly i dont have paints or brushes to even paint the plane, let alone start building something like that. Technically could you put the scene into fish tank, fill it with water and create artificial currents via water pump and just trow sediment there. Let it build up over time naturally, remove the water, let it dry and then seal it, before pouring epoxy?

Hey maybe for next time if you creat a diorama with a cool water cutout like that, maybe you could add some small fish or something in the resin?
CyclonicTuna023 a fish detail would be cool but i think it's pretty hard to make it in place
I was thinking the same. Or duck perhaps? That would be cute and funny ...
@Central Intelligence Agency fish aren't that sensitive, the gas and oil will float and be carried off in the currents, the only reason they die from oil spills is because there is such a massive amount of oil on the surface blocking the transmission of oxygen into the water. Thus they suffocate

And all the trees dead with a touch of snow

This is gorgeous! I wish I could do something likes this, but getting all the stuff you used and then actually doing the work would be impossible for many. Astonishing work
