It’s the 100k down that bothers me. Unless you’re REALLY committed to those 15 years, I don’t know if that’s worth it. And if the cruise operator goes belly up before then, do you get a prorated amount back? It’s a cool concept but unless I were a multi millionaire, I’d feel nervous about plucking down 100k with no assurance that I’d actually enjoy the experience for that long 😬

@manuwebmb Hi there! Yes, the $3,500 per month is in addition to the initial $100,000 purchase price. @@livinglifeonacruiseoh my goodness. I can see the $3500 month but the initial $100,000 for something you won’t own is sketchy to me. Regardless, it’s a great idea and I hope yall have an amazing time.

Your math is correct. The ship is the Villa Vie Odyssey. Friends and family will get their own cabin for $33/person per day.
This sounds awesome. If i wasn't disabled I would love to do this.
It’s an interesting adventure for sure.

We can bring our own liquor onboard.
Go Haaland!!
Eeesh! Y’all been waiting since May! 😢
Yes, but we have been exploring cool places around Europe in the duration.
How exciting! Sounds way cheaper than The Residences at Sea - I think those cost like $1 million each…,.
They do cost that much but We’re not rich and prefer this option.
Cheaper than assisted living housing.
It sure is!
Awesomeness 😊
Thanks 🤗
This is very interesting. Is it $100k total or for each year?
Cabins start at $100k and that’s for the life of the ship, estimated at 15+ years.
I used to live on Maui also - mainly kippahulu ❤ aloha!!!!
Aloha, Kihei here!
Safe travels, hugs
Thanks mom!
Hello my fellow swede. My great grandmother came here from Sweden at 15.
Very cool!
How long does your cabin purchase last and does the monthly price go up?
At least 15 years and we locked in the monthly fee.
What happens if there is damage or breakdown of the ship. Is there another ship they move you onto?
Not at the moment
If I could find a room mate to split the cost of it, I would so do it. 3500 dollars a month for everything is not bad. 1750 a month per person if I found a room mate. And it includes groceries, utilities, no automobile payments or auto insurance.
They also have good solo traveler options. Check it out in their website.
Sounds like a fantastic adventure! Have lots of fun!
We will!
And if theres another major Covid out break or worse, brave move

What about pets, can you bring your little dog along?
They allow cats in a few cabins. But no dogs.
I'm so jealous 😂 totally looking into this now for myself!! Thanks for sharing.
You should!
Help me understand the math...why is it $3,500 a month if you've already paid $100,000 for the cabin?

I really appreciate you answering my questions 😊 having medical included is extremely cool!! Cant wait to hear more about your life on a cruise ship...hopefully I'll get to meet you out there once I can do this too!
What happens if the ship is no longer in service?
It will probably be decommissioned in 15 years or more.
Is that $3500 per month per person or for the cabin?
For the cabin
What does your cabin look like.
Check out our latest video
What size cabin did you purchase?
It’s 140 sq ft
Did you sell your place on Maui?
We we’re just renting a small place.
Is it $100K broken down at $3500/month or $100K AND $3500/month?
$100k and $3500/ month for two
Life is short enjoy every minute! Stay safe❤
Thank you!
Can I respectfully ask do you still work? His will you support yourselves?
