If imma be honest, there are plenty of spots where you could've been faster, the first couple of corners, couldn't you get a better time entering those with slip angle or just completely sideways?

This is the reason why I love initial d(eurobeat, high speed intensity, and maxing out the rpm).
The car felt a bit, you know... Off, let's say. It feels like it's a toy car, you can push sub 4:10's with this car, I wouldn't clasify this as a world record, not even that, I would consider this run slow.
a 4:05 should even be possible with this car

haahha let's be honest, the water cup probably spilled couple times during the run hahaha, but amazingly done!!
The first couple corners can be faster, try going for exit speed a little more, there's more grip there as well as the last couple turns, maybe Change up the angle a bit. But the hairpins were really impressive, never tried to do it like that, mostly using them for more exit, not doing the whole thing in the gutter. Respect

I'll straight up say your faster and better than me but you could get faster, a few corners you can get faster especially in that car
It’s not every day you see a driver who works his ride better than his own feet, but when you do you can tell by the aura coming off the car. (by the way what setup are you running for asseto corsa as in wheel and stuff?)
You would have gotten a better time if you braked better. You were understeering harshly throughout the entire course and especially in the beginning. Being smoother on the brakes would also enable you to have a more efficient transfer of weight, making drifting easier.
It's not an on/off switch, the brake pedals has gradients and should be modulated to get the best result. Try braking to just before they lock up and slowly let off of them as you get through the corner.
Not only that, but you were missing corner apexes. Using a good racing line means that you're trying to turn the corners into as straight of a track as possible through your car's movements.
Enter the corner on the outside, try to make it to the inside, and aim for the outside again on the exit. This ensures that you adopt the straightest path, meaning the most speed through, the corner.
you can do better honestly, i m not taking you credit for this time or downhill, but you can improve more your time if you work a bit more on your driving technique to learn to do more slip angle ( that's hell to master, but i would help you twice while doing curves and corners , try to take the curves more open in order for your car to actually spin on its own and you do less effort to curve while gaining massive of speed in the process , there's a few corners where you take the curve a bit too much grip and if you can get theses little sections while doing slip angle , you can get to 3 55 , 3 57 in the time attack)

At 0:55 , wouldn't it be faster the hit a gutter run and exit the corner in the inside to then take a nice line on the hairpin ?
he did that for more exit speed, and its a better line since if you just stay on the inside you would have to sacrifice time for a better hairpin turn
