I like the deck intros, it gives me a chance to see who is playing what commander before jumping right in and some decks need a short explanation to understand what they are trying do. It is also easy enough for anyone who does not want to see the intro to just skip forward.
Yeah if I actually had any problem with them I would just skip them. I like having a few minutes to picture how the game will play out before actually seeing it.
I really think one of y'all needs to help Crim with his deck building like seriously. 36 lands is fine but 36 lands and no ramp is not good, especially in Grixis. There's very easy cuts to put in any mana ramp, like counterbalance and Top those really don't need to be in your deck. There's so many pet cards that could be easily replaced for ramp. Just some advice because it really hurts y'all's content seeing one player literally do nothing for an hour
Crim's lack of ramp really does impair the gameplay. we've missed out on drastically different games if all four players were interacting instead of three.
He was/is a pro player right so is he just building shit on purpose? since it really makes watching these far less enjoyable when it just 3 players reason I been watching other commander youtubers far more then commander clash now
@@Alkhemia8 Building decks for EDH is a different skill, and even then has changed in the last several years. The valuation on ramp and card draw is not the same when you can't try to win on the strength of your opening hand.

I see now why crim is always so mana screwed. Its got nothing to do with his land count and everything to do with thr fact that he hasnt got a single piece of mana acceleration in his deck list. Not a single piece of ramp at all, and i thinking back over past episodes i barely remember seeing him run any then either. There also isnt enough card draw to help draw into the lands he does run, 1 card per turn is never going to get you enough gas or mana to do anything with. So please, crim, if you read this run 8-10 mana accelerants like rocks etc, and some more card draw just to allow you to play the decks you build, you dont have to cut pet cards or compromise on fun, but you do compromise your fun by never being able to play it either by never drawing it or never having the mana to play it even if you luck into it with your naturally draws. In a multiplayer format your opponents are drawing 3 cards to your 1 just through natural draws alone, you need to be trying to match them

Also huge props to Tomer for bringing a deck that came under 3 digits versus some of the decks going up to 4. Budget week!
Pretty sure part of why Crim always gets mana screwed is that he plays literally no ramp/mana rocks. It obviously doesn't stop him from only drawing 4 lands, but he'd still have access to a more reasonable amount of mana.
Crim deserves to get mana screwed since he is greedy running no mana rocks or ramp. Seth on the other hand has like 52 cards that are rather lands, land support, ramp/mana rocks or discounts. No wonder Crim doesnt get to do anything. I remember on MTGGoldfish deckbuilding in EDH a video said they usually like atleast 50 cards of the deck being related to helping your mana in some way. I like the idea of each player explaining their deck during turn one. HOWEVER: Deck outros are super important. This is often the first match you guys play with your new deck, so hearing your thoughts on how it played out is useful for anyone interested in building the deck.
I miss the deck intros. I like the overview of the decks. Knowing what each player goal of the deck is and watching how they are trying navigate the game into their favor.
I disliked the way of handling the deck intros this week as the Intros were extremly chaotic and not that focused - though the interactions between each other during the Intros and the shit talking of best husbando was very entertaining.

Moonring Island lets you peek at a library before choosing who to attack with Daxos. It's one of the few decks where I'd run the card. Hedron Archive is overrated in most decks but I will still run it in some budget decks, mostly because the price of mana rocks keeps going up across the board. I reall enjoy the intros. Give me some inside into what the decks want to do more in depth and i like taking a look at it as you guys speak about the decks. Love the content :)
I couldn't be happier to see Thraximundar getting some time in the sun. But, he's not running Grimgrin and that's just incorrect.
The "e" is "jitte" is a short 'e' sound like in the word "ten". We know the set was based entirely around Japanese culture, so we can look at the Japanese cards for reference. The "ji" on the Japanese MTG card is actually the character for "ten" which by itself is typically romanized as "ju" (long 'u' sound, like the 'oo' in "boot"). However, that syllable is diminished in the word "jitte" so it sounds more like "ji" (short 'i', like "it") when spoken.
"Jitte" is also just (in case you're not aware) a real word, for the real-world weapon depicted in the card. (It was predominantly associated with Edo-period law enforcement.)
How does Tommer always start a fight through all out the new season with the new guest participant hahahaha? First Vince, then Krim, now Andrew hahahaha
Forgot to say, I'd still prefer a more in-depth intro for the decks, so i don't have to read every card to see what the deck has / what synergies, but that could just be me, thanks for the video!
Yeah, I'm up for new stuff, but I really liked the old intro better. If the change is for a reason, then by all means do what is easier, but if possible i would like it the oher way.
Personally I like the intros not only can you skip them if they're annoying to you but they give a sense of professionalism. Like they look fancy. Keep it I'd say. Also it means that you skip from talking about the game and just start talking in general. And the best moments of commander clash (outside of strip mine and commencer) is the talking. Just when you guys relax and chill out and threaten each others rugs
think this new style will be pretty great when you guys get it ironed out. 12/10 on banter this week. I will echo hoping you convince Crim to ramp. hard to cast those fire spells when you cant drop any mana to cast them.
Also not a fan of the missing intros, they were a nice way to smoothly get into the commander clash vibe before the game starts. More importantly, I like hearing about the reason each person chose their deck and commander, and how they plan on playing before the action starts. Seeing Seth's viewpoint every once in a while is pretty fun though.
Dear Crim, I would like to build decks like you, but my house pride rises too full. How do you abandon the guilds? Signets, lockets, clustones, even a well dressed sadbot calls too much to me to consider living without. I have sunk as low to fly the banners of Takir. Please help. P.S. I also like the intro decklists.
I like the deck intros, it gives me a chance to see who is playing what commander before jumping right in and some decks need a short explanation to understand what they are trying do. It is also easy enough for anyone who does not want to see the intro to just skip forward.
Yes! As simple as using markers.

Longtime fan, my vote is for the longer intro by the way!
i really liked the Deck intros and the outros even More. its good to understand the function of the decks and thoughts behind them.
I like this new switch up, I was tired of seeing rot wolf each time you guys didn't want to show the deck
Andrew is too spiky for this group.
his deck cost like twice what anybody else was playing
Yeah, I'm up for new stuff, but I really liked the old intro better. If the change is for a reason, then by all means do what is easier, but if possible i would like it the oher way.
NOOOO I look forward to the deck lists each week!
I like the deck intros. Like this episode a little less because of them being gone
Intros during gameplay is great.
Game 2 has Andrew and Crim's hands swapped at the start
Personally I like the intros not only can you skip them if they're annoying to you but they give a sense of professionalism. Like they look fancy. Keep it I'd say. Also it means that you skip from talking about the game and just start talking in general. And the best moments of commander clash (outside of strip mine and commencer) is the talking. Just when you guys relax and chill out and threaten each others rugs
I do like this intro way better! :)
Also, where can I submit decklists for you guys?
You can email me at SaffronOlive@MTGGoldfish.com, Tomer at Tomer@MTGGoldfish.com or Crim at Crim@MTGGoldfish.com
@@MTGGoldfish Is it better to send it as just text, or as a link to tapped out?
think this new style will be pretty great when you guys get it ironed out.
I like the old deck intros
deckbuilds are my favorite part of the show
Dear Crim,
I would like to build decks like you, but my house pride rises too full. How do you abandon the guilds? Signets, lockets, clustones, even a well dressed sadbot calls too much to me to consider living without. I have sunk as low to fly the banners of Takir. Please help.
P.S. I also like the intro decklists.
Yea I also enjoy the deck intros more
