And the trigger pull in double action is like 15 kilos...If you keep dry firing it every day you will eventually get Schwarzenegger arms. And Carpal Tunnel...
38 is the measurement of the length of the case which in the case of the nagant revolvers cartridge covers the entirety of the projectile where as the aks casing stops toward the base of the projectile meaning less powder on the same projectile however nearly the same length of case
It’s a pretty ingenious design. I’m wondering how much energy/ velocity was gained with the gas seal system. I’m guessing it did make a difference if the cartridge was originally a black powder cartridge but I doubt it’s really worth the trouble with smokeless powders. Anyway I’m also guessing that the suppressor benefits were an afterthought. But it’s a fascinating design .
Can someone explain to me in further detail please? I'm having trouble figuring out why the first shot at 0:31 fires without the hammer catching on the sear, but then the follow up shot does catch and the trigger has to be pulled further for the hammer to be released.
Can someone please tell why my nagant fires only at double action?? Would really appreciate some advice how to make it shoot at single action because I lose accuracy from the shake from the heavy trigger pull .. I can be wrong but I think that in single action , the firing pin is not hitting the primer with enough force to fire it .. Help please !!
You should try it in real life, it's a pain in the butt. It's very clumsy. I don't understand why they didn't design it so you could tilt the cylinder out of the frame, like an M1917...Would have made reloading a lot faster and easier. But it is an interesting and cool design nonetheless. I have a Russian Nagant Revolver from 1938.
Hallo! Mein Freund! Ich wollte dich fragen! Wer hat wirklich diesen revolver Modell Nagant hergestellt? Weil ich diesen Modell in vielen Euro Ländern gesehen! Hoffe du kannst mir helfen auf dieser Frage antworten! Danke
It was designed in Belgium by Léon Nagant. So it is a Belgian design. But many countries used the Nagant revolver. For example, Russia used the Nagant M/1895, Norway used the Nagant M/1893, Sweden used the Nagant M/1887. These variants are all very similar. It was used by many other countries also, mostly the Russian M/1895. The Russian M/1895 is the most common variant. I have a Russian M/1895 and a Norwegian M/1893 myself.
it has the look of a smith and wesson, the shooting of a webley Mk IV and the reloding of a colt action army... this beutty is the best revolver ever

Fun fact: it fires a 7.62X38 round, which is just 1mm short of being an ak round(7.62X39)
I wonder, which on is the projectile diameter, 7.62? Or 38?
but its a straight wall
@@dickyarya8204 projectiles same. Case is slightly shorter. 7.62 is

Plus the rear rim diameter is much larger on the 762x39. Vastly more powder volume.
I love watching mechanics in action. Thanks! ❤
impressive, very detailed as always

I've read it gained a whopping 70 fps. but suppressed it's really cool
@@goateecusbilly1823 If I’m not mistaking, is this the only revolver that can be effectively suppressed?
@@watchman0062 that is correct. I plan on suppressing mine just for the novelty of if.
@@goateecusbilly1823 Thanks for the info!
@@goateecusbilly1823 What caliber? I'm assuming the original
Love the Fallout New Vegas touch of the skins :)
Hypnotic.
These videos are awesome!

The gun can works as a double action. The first pull is for the double action demonstration while the second pull is the single action demonstration
Super!
Where is the suppressor?

have you tried cocking the hammer with your thumb?
So after world war 1 they stopped making single action ones, switching to only making double action ones
Muito bom de ver! Tira todas as dúvidas...
I’d have a hard time reloading this thing, especially in PUBG.
